Best god dam Mexican on the planet. Spent 7 years backpacking in Mexico and working as a chef in Mexico as well as learning the way from locals in their homes and this place beats it all! I'd eat it breakfast lunch and tea. Thinking about giving 4 stars simply because they are not open for breakfast. Nice work. And the drinks are awesome and flow all night 😉
First visit today, Easter Sunday. Seated and drink immediately. Excellent food! Attentive service and happy staff. Thanks also very much to the female employee that gave our daughter an Easter egg! It's the little things. Will be back soon. Happy Easter!
Surprisingly surprisingly good. The food I tried here has to be the tastiest Mexican food I have ever had. The chicken adobo burrito is something else. The corn was amazing and the chips had this incredible addictive seasoning on them. Everything from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend.
YUM YUM YUM! SO MANY VEGO OPTIONS!!! Pumpkin quesadilla and nachos are to DIE for. Also the 2 for $25 cocktails are a great idea! My friend and I ended up having about 4 each. Well priced and great service!
What a treat! The service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious. We ordered the Chic Chic Boom for entre which was full of flavour, followed by the pumpkin quesadilla. Kids meals were great and the waiter even brought our young child some free churros to taste!

Delicious, fresh, authentic Mexican food. Cocktails are amazing. Great range of veg, vegan and GF options! Definitely give this place a visit (or 10!)
Wonderful flavours and innovative menu, but confusingly the nachos arrived cold. After looking at other reviews here, it seems that's how they are served, but they would have been much nicer if hot. Funky, young atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good prices and plenty of food.
Great food, great service, beautiful decor.. a bit cold inside . but amazing place for dinner..we traveling to Bendigo for a day and just walked . We are glad we did..
Reception as we arrived was not great, though we were seated. After looking at the menu we were asked for our orders and food came out fast (chimichangas and a chicken burrito) food was very tasty. The setting is good and atmosphere was nice.

Food was amazing and came out fast, service could of been better. Staff where trying to rush even even though it wasn't busy and we where pushed out the minute we finished.
Excellent, had some really good food here. Try the prawn quesadilla, the pork quesadillas, the corn and chicken tacos, all very good. Nice friendly staff. Next time we are in Bendigo, we'll come back

We had Amazing experience at GPO. Food is awesome. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were have received extraordinary service, even after kitchen closed she arranged us dessert with happy face. The arrangement at courtyard was really amazing for larger groups. Will come back there again for sure. Keep it up GPO
Delicious food and great service. We had the scallops, corn fritters, chips, pumpkin salad and the slow cooked lamb pizza. All were fabulous and piping hot. We were there on a Friday lunchtime and only 4 or so tables occupied which may explain the great service. Would definitely visit again on next trip to Bendigo.
Decided to do try out some of the choices on the tapas menu! So delicious! Will definitely be back when I’m in Bendigo next!
Nice and cosy with great food. The scallops are a must such great flavour. Steak was cooked to perfection. Loved the vibe.
We really enjoy our whole experience at the GPO. The food was great and the service was excellent. Our party included 2 adults and a 7yo child. As soon as we were seated the waitress brought coloured pencils and an activity sheet to the table for Miss 7, who was thrilled (and happily occupied with colouring the whole time). The kids menu is great, with actual real food for kids!
We had pizzas and they were an excellent size and delicious. Great selection of drinking and decent pricing. We can highly recommend the GPO and were so happy with the service from all staff we encountered on the night.
