Been to the Golden Vine Hotel twice now for lunch and must say the food is excellent, the beer cold and it has a lovely friendly atmosphere ... thank you so much for the top notch service, great food and warm atmosphere two thumbs up from me !!!! I’ll be coming back again and again at this rate !!!!
We went Saturday night for a meal... .. Waitress informed us there was a party of 40 just placed food order and might be a bit of a wait... It didn't seem that long before we were served our meal... The young chef did an excellent job that night keeping everyone happy.... There were other diners as well... Food was fantastic staff were great and the music was perfect.... The Cartwheels were playing country and western sooo good... We will def be back... Keep up good work
There is a lot to like about the Golden Vine Hotel at 135 King St Bendigo, that is because there is a lot going on. Depending on the night, you will find trivia, live bands, pub choir and more. We popped in for a meal; I had the Lemon Pepper Calamari with wonderful crispy chips and tartar sauce. The meal really hit the spot. We found the staff happy, friendly and welcoming. What more could you ask for?

If you order food order it at least 30 mins before you think you will want it. They over cook a lot of stuff though.
We are a couple from Melbourne, and were there a week ago, (18/2/22), for an early dinner and to see the brilliant Quarry Hillbillies. Had a great Wagyu Burger, and Jenny loved her Warm Beef Salad.
All the while, the service, enthusiasm and atmosphere was one of relaxed enjoyment and great music.
Would happily return!
Wonderful little hotel that seems to have a variety of musical nights. Good meals & Great staff.
The only negative was steps to the ladies restroom, which of course is difficult for disabled customers. There may be another room for disabled so I will have to go back and check it out further.
Definitely worth a visit if only to check out their cocktails they develop on sites. The barman was working on a new one while we were there.
Good food & great price for lunch, with a couple of vegetarian options. Service was fast. Not too crowded. Was a nice place to catch up for weekday lunch with friends.
