Loved all the dishes we ordered!! We had the Classic Shakshouka w/ Lamb Sausage, Green Shakshouka w/ Sujuk, Beef Kofta w/ Salad, and Hummus w/ Lamb. Food was amazing, coffee was great, other drinks like their Pomegranate & Lime Soda, and the Berry Smoothie was on point as well. Definitely worth making your way in for this cafe. Friendly service too!
Defs order Shakshouka:) Won't let u down. Tomato sauce is very tick and yummy, go match with the half cooked egg! The bekery is yummy too. A bit far from Bondi Beach but it's easier to get here by a car and you'll find a spot to park!
Why I didn’t come here earlier? It’s been in my bookmarks for long and every time i just skipped it. Finally today i went and got an indoor table. I’m not tomato and bagel lover but I love them so much. The combination between them was just fantastic! Would definitely come back for lunch menus as I wasn’t to try their lamb dish.
I ordered the shakshuka this morning and it was the best breakfast that I have had in a while. I highly recommend this dish! The cafe in Bondi is also lovely. Thank you Shuk!
Of the two SHUK outlets I've visited, this one takes the cake.
The Sabich Bowl is insanely delicious, full of flavour and great presentation. The broken falafel was a new way of presenting a falafel which I found a simple yet clever change. I also really liked the pickled carrots which gave a bit of sweetness to the savoury dish. Haven't seen teff on the menu before so was curious to try the Teff Pancake. Pancakes were quite sweet on their own as they were soaked in maple syrup but when you combine the ricotta and the fruit with the pancake, it balances out perfectly.
Also had Lemon and Ginger Tea which was served in a large pot with loose leaves. Smelled and tasted divine.

My thanks to SHUK North Bondi for the invite.

Although the food is really “Middle Eastern” as opposed to “Israeli”, the food itself is still great and reminiscent of me traveling through the Middle East albeit with some slight changes. Staff were wonderful and great with seating in very congested time slot
Superb dining!!! We ordered baked eggs with the slow cooked lambbb just amazing !!! The coffee was pretty sweet also :) the cafe was so busy but the food was arrived ina timely manner - could not fault this place
Food is always delicious here - a great brunch spot. A little bit away from the crowded beach, and definitely no view - this spot was the local corner store for many years before the team at Shuk moved in. However, there's always a buzzing atmosphere, dogs are welcomed at the outside dining areas and well looked after with dishes of water. Service can be slow and bookings done in a rather haphazard manner, and a couple of staff members tend to get quite sharp when they're busy, but overall a great experience every time.
Great dining experience! Will definitely be coming back!! Food is delicious. Would recommend to all my friends. I will be coming back over the weekend
Very Delicious! Love the food and ambience. My favourite is their healthy teff pancake, green shakshouka with lamb, and the beef kofta pita bread.
Definitely will come back to try their chef’s special of eggplant and stacitella shaksuka.
Staff were friendly, and food were quickly served.
Price is reasonable compared to the others in Bondi.
Visited a while ago. Food was fresh and delicious. Good coffee. Love the outdoor seats nice vibes and neighborhood.
Great cafe away from the Bondi buzz.
The food has the authentic Israeli touch. Delicious and rightly priced.
The staff is very friendly and the kitchen delivers fast.
Lots of seats outside which makes it both comfortable and convenient COVID-wise
They also sell bread and pastries.
I highly recommend it.
This establishment goes beyond your normal street bakery to serve a menu full of culinary delights. Be prepared to take some time in making your choice. Too many delightful options
Good coffee, friendly staff. The Shakshuka was delicious,, I was planning to try the dessert and pastries but there were flies in the place where they were stored and displayed.
I’ve had brekkie here twice. The service is busy but friendly and efficient. The staff are warm friendly dog lovers and there are heaps of cute dogs. The food is good. I even saw an A list Hollywood star here on my previous visit. I don’t get the gripes about app ordering and pigeons keep up the good work!
Went there on a Friday for lunch. Staff were relaxed and pleasant. Have no complaints about venue. In a good location (15min stroll to Bondi beach) lots of space between customers (covid friendly) busy, but not over crowded.
The chairs are comfortable (I'm a plus size with chronic pain so this is important and helpful) 2 outdoor seating areas and seating indoors too. Great decor. 2 bathrooms, very clean. Even a disability bathroom!! Excellent!
Only small issue is they have a very small step to get inside area - so it's very close to being completely wheelchair accessible but not quite.
I was impressed at the wheelchair accessible bathroom as most places don't think of that.
The main drawcard the Shuk dishes live up to the hype. Needed extra Pita bread. Very fresh food and bread. Chai tea a little weak but still good.
Can't comment on sweets or coffee as I didn't try them this time. The menu is tempting and lots of variety.
Ambience is pleasant with many relaxed families and dog walkers. In a safe area.
Overall deserves 5 stars.
We had the cilbir bagel and the shakshuka and they were both great. Service was friendly and fantastic. It was a great experience, would highly recommend!
