This cute place up on the hill in North Bondi is a popular spot with locals. Sunday afternoon sessions are also popular. The laidback bar & restaurant has Middle Eastern & Spanish accents in the food & dishes are designed to share. Service is as laid back as the backpackers on Bondi beach which can be a little frustrating, but just sit back, relax, sip on your sangria/cocktail/wine/drink of choice & nibble away watching the beach, ocean, waves & beautiful people.

Only tried some cocktails and seafood from here BUT everything was so delicious and fresh. Also the vibe here is unbeatable, so relaxed and chill, we will definitely be back for some afternoon drinks and a larger feed next time.
I've lived in Bondi 16 years so I know the restaurants here very well. This place has recently gotten a new chef and the food is now truly excellent. Well dinner is anyway - I haven't been for lunch or breakfast for ages (although a friend told me it's got the best bacon and egg roll in Bondi. Anyway I took my parents here on Christmas eve and the food was truly delicious. Top picks: Jerk Chicken & Coconut crusted Tuna. I thought that coconut and tuna would be a terrible combo but it was actually amazing.

To celebrate the launch of The Hill Eatery’s new bar in North Bondi, we were invited to enjoy a night of amazing drinks, good food and great vibes!. We were absolutely thrilled to try some snacks from their new bar menu, which all looked so delicious! We started off with the oysters, which were served drizzled in caramelised red wine vinegar and eschalot dressing, and a hint of lemon. While I’m normally not a lover of oysters, the saltiness and tartness of the vinegar added a zesty flavour to the oyster, and it was a delicious snack that had us going back for seconds!
Wonderful food and relaxing atmosphere. The ambience is rather romantic in the evening so a great place to dine with your lover. The menu is delicious and the customer service is very attentive. I highly recommend the chicken - it is very moist and juicy.
We dropped in here on a whim for a Monday night dinner, the meals were divine, the service superb, and the waitress lighting a candle for our 4yo to repeatedly blow out without batting an eyelid was greatly appreciated at the end of a long day travelling, muchos gracias
The mood is warm and cosy, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food was really delicious. We happened to go on Tuesday night, "locals night" when all the mains were reduced to $25. As an added bonus because we were eating early we got 2 for one kids meals. A great family night out with friends.

Top Spot. Dined here tonight for first time with my son. Had an excellent meal.Shared the ribs as entree, my son had the steak and I had the fish. Both superb. Wonderful flavours. We were gently tempted to have the flourless choice cake and were no disappointed - it was amazing . Great service and pleasant ambience. Good background music choice. Looking forward to our next visit. Apparently breakfast is must.
