I hosted a lunch at Albert and Sydney for 20 people and the staff and venue were absolutely incredible! The food was magnificent, they catered for all dietary requirements and the staff were so beautiful!! Would highly recommend Albert and Sydney for all functions!
Had my 30th birthday party at Albert and Sydney on the weekend. I had the absolute best night, everything was perfect! The staff are so so lovely and accommodating. The guests all made comment on what a great venue it was for a party and can't stop talking about how good the food was. I would highly recommend you to book this venue for your next party.
I recently celebrated my 30th birthday at Albert and Sydney. We had about 55 people but could easily fit a lot more. Jerome and the staff were so organized in the weeks leading up and on the night itself. The food was amazing and there was plenty going around. The guest couldn’t stop complimenting the venue and food and everyone had a great night. I couldn’t recommend this place enough for any large function you are planning.

My function at Albert & Sydney on July 20th 2019 to celebrate my 50th birthday was fantastic! I could not have been any happier with the evening. I had looked at countless venue online and even visited a few places but as soon as I walked into Albert and Sydney I knew it was the perfect venue for me.
The time, care and professional service offered in the planning of the event with Priya and Josephine made me feel very confident that everything would run smoothly. They ensured every detail was attended to. The chef Jerome, is a magician. The food delicious, plentiful and is still being talked about by my guests. The staff on the evening circulated the food, ensuring that even my older guests were tended to without having to get up. The bar staff were friendly and ensured everyone had a drink in hand without having to wait.
It can be difficult choosing a venue when you you’ve never attended a function there but I can very high recommend Albert & Sydney! The night ran so smoothly, they checked in with me regularly and made sure I was happy with all they were doing. I appreciated their recommendations for decoration hire and the flexibility in being able to bring my own cake and arrange tables and areas to suit my needs. The night was seamless, I with my guests had a great time and even though it was a 6 hour event, the only downside was that the night flew by far too quickly!
We recently celebrated our Engagement Party at Albert and Sydney and I truly only have positive things to say about our experience. The staff were brilliant, the booking process was easy and the food was delicious, especially the grazing table. We have had so many guests comment about how much they loved the venue and I know that we will keep A&S in mind for any future events. Even the small complimentary touches of candles and flowers just set the tone for a well presented venue. Thank you for all of your help and for being part of our Engagement celebration.
I recently had my 21st Birthday here and the venue and staff were incredible! I could not recommend this venue enough - Josephine was on top of everything and made sure the experience was smooth and seamless and catered for our every need. Her guidance and understanding was exceptional. The venue itself is beautiful and a perfect size for such an event. A massive thank you to this venue for giving me the best night - we will definitely be back again! Xx
We had our wedding reception here and had the best experience. The place is beautiful and the staff there are amazing. Josephine, Priya and Jerome were so great and made sure everything went smoothly. Great communication prior to the day and the girls were always accommodating when we requested to pop in to discuss stuff. I had so many guests compliment the food and comment how on the ball and friendly all the staff were. I would definitely recommend this place for any function, including weddings!
I recently had my engagement party at Albert & Sydney and it was perfect. Going back to enquiring for the venue, Josephine was prompt and accomodating to our availabilities and made the whole process so much easier. The venue was amazing, the food was beyond a 10/10 and the staff were just exceptional. They made our engagement a night to remember. All our guests kept complimenting how amazing everyone and everything was, I would highly recommend.

The website lists it as a function room for hire, but it's a nice pub style restaurant. I booked ahead to get a comfy corner booth.
Once a month they run Musical Bingo. It was very enjoyable, and they really talk to the crowd and made us feel part of it.
Prices of the food was good. Although the chicken parma was pretty small compared to what you get elsewhere (too big!), but it was reasonable.
Staff were very friendly.
We'll be going back for musical bingo again for sure.
Incredible experience having my 21st here! Excellent communication (thanks Rose), unbelievably accommodating, and all staff were extremely friendly and eager to make it a great night!
Venue itself is beautiful, and the food was of a very high standard. Couldn't be happier!
