The sushi felt super fresh when ordered. I'd recommend looking at the menu and letting the server know what you'd like. Food comes faster and fresher. Albeit a large part is the conveyor belt experience. There were not as many people the time we went, so belt food was limited, for good reason. Staff was really helpful and nice though.

Amazing, yet unassuming, Sushi Train restaurant. My partner loves sushi and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even as a vegetarian, I really loved the food and staff were very friendly. Definitely a must try when in Cairns!

The best sushi in Cairns. Fresh sashimi and fresh made sushi. Rice cooked perfectly. Great service with friendly staffs. I will definitely go again! Highly recommended 👍👍

We are visiting Cairns from Brisbane and we’re really craving sushi. After our quick Google search, we decided to go to Orient Express sushi and we were so glad we did. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Really generous serving size as well. My partner and I were thinking about that cheesy chicken plate all afternoon, it was our favourite. The staff is super lovely too! Would 100% recommend.

What a great find! Ordered Agedashi tofu Tuna Sashimi from the menu and it was so fresh and delicious! This is not part of a chain - owners Dean, Tari and Palm work and cook in the business - thanks for a fabulous lunch !

Must visit in Cairns! The best sushi I've had. Such great service, made right in front of you. Have been to this place many times and cannot recommend highly enough. We get the large katsu rice bowls and they're so delicious 🤩

This placed popped up on a must try lunch in cairns. The service was great and the host was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and tidy. We ordered off the menu and also from the train. Our order came out in a timely manner. The salmon sashimi was delicious. Fresh and good quality. I would recommend for a quick and tasty lunch!
