Second time I have been here and it doesn't disappoint. The coffee is superb, beer plentiful and food? OMG. Amazing. Will definately be back on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to eat and drink.
We had our wedding reception at young bloods Saturday 28th of May and it was more then we could have hoped. The staff we amazing - attentive, helpful and super friendly! The food was so good and there was heaps. The location was perfect. They tailored the night to suit us and I could not recommend these guys more highly. Thank you for making our day as much fun as we had imagined!!!

Dropped by this cafe after my morning gym sesh as it was just down the road. Used EatClub & received 40% the total bill.
Ordered:
1. Veggie Lasagne ($17)
2. Mocha ($4) ☕️
The veggie lasagne was recommended by the waiter as one of their popular savoury dishes. Pretty decent portion size, couldn't finish it & had to takeaway my leftovers. Taste was alright, wouldn't say its the best but not too bad.
The menu is pretty limited, but it seems like what they do they do very well! Service was wonderful, and an issue of a forgotten item was fixed with a smile super quickly. Only downside was rubbery haloumi, but if I hadn't ordered that it would have been a perfect meal.
Great brunch spot in Fitzroy! Great selection in the menu and a very cozy environment. Big brekky and chilli scrambled eggs are 😋 And right next to the Artist and Mills Markets!!
I never knew this cafe was hidden behind the Rose Street artist market til today. Staff made me feel very comfortable and well looked after, which is not something I often feel at inner north venues of a certain calibre (i.e. trendy). My waiter was happy to swap the prosciutto on my dish for mushrooms at no additional charge, whereas many other cafes make you pay for swaps - Especially on weekends. While I think the mushy peas would have been nicer served warm, they were delicious either way. The addition of buffalo mozzarella was the icing on this very healthy cake. My coffee was also amazing. I'd say the best I've had in a while. It was strong, the milk was perfect and it was served hot without making the soymilk curdle, which is quite the feat. There's also wifi, so this is a good spot to work at non-peak times.
**3.5 stars** We visited this cafe whilst checking out the bustling Fitzroy market. I liked the feel of this cafe. It’s interior decor including the hanging plants, mosaic paintings and bookshelves added character and warmth to the atmosphere. The staff were friendly here, the service was prompt and the coffee was great. However, we found that the two dishes we ordered were average...(Smashed avocado and chia bowl)
When your breakfasts take slightly longer to arrive than you might expect on a mid-morning when things appear not so busy, it's a good sign that they're being cooked with care. And so it proved. My full breakfast was of the highest order, my partner couldn't stop enthusing over the portobello mushrooms and feta. The coffee too was excellent.
Repeat business to follow.
If next time the staff could perhaps ask for feedback rather than simply advising coldly of the cost, it'll be an even better experience.
A jug of Pimms is surprisingly hard to find. What else would someone want to drink on a hot day? Thankfully you can get a good (slightly small) jug here on a rooftop with a through breeze.
Had a really pleasant experience here! The atmosphere is really nice, they have a beautiful outside area and also inside is nice to. The staff were friendly and the food was really delicious! I got the poke bowl with smoked salmon and it was soooo good! Couldn’t fault it and I’m so happy they put the sauce on the side because I hate when they put it on top! It doesn’t allow you to put as much or as little as you’d like, so I really appreciate the thought that went into the presentation of the dish as well and the amount of each ingredient! It was the perfect summer meal! I’ll definitely be back !
Lovely menu, the usual suspects and then some. Consistently delish coffee. Great atmosphere, the plants are very lovely to sit around and always friendly staff. I saw a large group that had booked say to the manager they just needed to add another 2 people, and while it was obviously gunna be a pain in the butt to facilitate on a busy Saturday morning and tables needed to be moved, they just took it in their stride . Its got a particularly lovely vibe on market day.
I had the special of the pasta, was not disappointed! The stuffed zucchini flowers were also a hit, coffee was on point. Could not fault this place, was a wonderful place to stumble across. Great service, unique and well done interior, would reccommend!
Cool little place right next to a local market that seema to have quite the crowd at all times.
Food was great and coffee was excellent. Biggest reason we picked this place was because they big enough tables to host larger partys (there was 7 of us).
I also love the fact that more than half of the option are vegetarian by default and a good selection of vegan options aswell. If you want meat, you can always add it to your dish!
Affordable and really friendly staff.
Simple but fresh ingredient from the brunch, delicious food and great coffee!
Love the ambience and the interior decor, comfy and cozy place the having a quality time with friends and family.
Friendly cafe restaurant at entrance of Rose St Artists Market. Food hit and miss but great drinks.
Always a great standard in all seasons. The food is fresh, excellent combinations.
While there are lots of really cool cafes in the area, this one is definitely worth a try.
Really delicious coffee.
My usually at cafes has become poached eggs and avocado on sourdough. They did a great job. 🍳🥑😋
The cafe is also right next to a cute little market. I didn’t have a chance to look today but will definitely be going back again.
very good coffee based on a long mac and a flat white. lovely service, great with the kids. fries were excellent. the baked beans in kasundi sauce is worth coming back for. the food is good but laid back, in tune with the service. A really good experience.
Since arriving in Australia, I have met many people, but Adam and Chris is the coolest I've ever known. Also the excellent food and the good atmosphere of the place, they make it perfect to go with your family, enjoy with friends or go alone.
