At top end of Brunswick street, it is one of those bars that don't have sign or clearly marked entrance. We wandered around that intersection for a while looking desperately for the front gate, it is tucked away next to a pharmacy. The whole bar appears to be converted from a residential terrace. The backyard is where the actions are - live music, cool crowd, craft beers, etc. I was really impressed with the music that day, unfortunately we couldn't stay to 10pm when they had live DJ performance. The wall art was very cool too, probably part of the reason why this place left such a deep impression on me.

It’s a very cosy spot that feels a bit like stepping into someone’s living room and has a nice small outdoor area. It’s good if you just want to chill and they also do nice cocktails (I had one with egg whites in it..interesting!). I tried some of my friend’s rice lager too which I hadn’t had before – it was light and slightly sweet, not bad. I’ve always been skeptical of rice drinks after having ‘bai jiu’ in China (for the uninitiated…consider yourself blessed – it tastes like it should be hospital-grade anti-bacterial alcohol). My Mandarin teacher though swears that bai jiu is good with hot pot…
