Yummy the food is was great especially White curry noodle , ice kacang , samba kangkong I be back soon
Situated near the bus stops it’s a less busier part of Glen Waverley but nevertheless this joint is always packed ! We tried the authentic curry mee and satay skewers . The curry mee had good flavour but not much in the dish but noodles . The satay skewers was delicious , meat was a bit dry
Our go-to Malaysian stop. The flavours are spot on. Although their roti can be a bit on the oiler side, we still get it sometimes. The dishes are all reasonably price.
Great Malaysian place for a quick casual meal. Very reasonably priced compared to other Malaysian joints in Glen Waverley. Have been back several times already.
Tried the hokkien char mee yesterday, Singapore style, and it was not too bad at all. Quite impressed. This is a version of hokkien Mee which you can hardly find in Melbourne. Enjoyed it!
Off from the busy Kingsway strip, O’Town is still always buzzing during meal times. The good thing is that wait times aren’t too long. We ordered the dry Wantan mee, Assam laksa, Sar hor fun and vegetarian Mee goreng and all were tasty and flavoursome. The Rojak was nice too. The Hokkien mee was only alright - didn’t really have the wok flavour. Great value for money, generous portions and friendly customer service. Ample street parking.
I really enjoyed their dry noodles with curry here! Probably one of the nicest I’ve had in Melb, since it’s not a dish you see frequently. Teh ais was alright, but probably wouldn’t order again.
Really love the kopitiam feel of this place.
Been craving assam laksa and that’s what we ordered, in addition to chee cheong fun and hainanese chicken rice. The assam laksa broth was flavorful but only thing was the noodles were a tad bit too firm. Same with the chee cheong fun. Flavour and taste was good just that the cheong fun itself was a little too hard/ firm. Chicken rice was a good portion and fair. Ice kachang was really good. Very authentic and service was good too.
Food 3.5. Long queue during peak hours, but 15mins wait..not too bad. Love their Pan mian and their Kueh Jab. I didn't get to take pics b4 I realized we have finished half way. Definately worth to go. I will be back.

We ordered in to have at the office after our usual laksa place was closed. How great that turned out because the laksa was so full of flavour and packed with a generous amount of toppings. I had the white curry mee with seafood which was enough to eat over two serves. There was the perfect amount of spice and tang 👌
The menu looks delish so will definitely trying this place again next time we order from Glenny!
O’Town in Glen Waverley has been around awhile and it continues to be a consistent player.
☀️The sunny bits:
First up, the service was nice and welcoming. Ordering is done by writing down what you want so the chances of mistakes are reduced. It didn’t take long for our food to reach our table. The chicken noodle soup was comfortingly tasty. The laksa broth was full of flavour and the chee cheong fun was very authentic. Serving sizes were above average while prices were below average - my favourite kind of formula!
☁️The cloudy bits:
The interior was slightly run down but it added to the authentic Malaysian experience.
⭐️The forecast:
O’Town, you’ve done it again!👍
First visit to this Malaysian restaurant. Good spot as it is on kingways st thus plenty carpark. The restaurant has plenty 2 or 4 chairs table. The staffs were responsive but polite. Ordered nasi lemak and ipoh chicken + honey tea. Tasteful and yummy. Big serve too, should have shared 1 dish :D. Otherwise the price is great. Definitely recommended
First time being here since it relocated. Nice place, simple and no nonsense. Food was delicious and very quick. Also very competitively priced.
Interior and atmosphere was also simple but warming. Good layout and easy for a small group of 4-6.
The only reason it lost a point, was that I felt the menu needed a bit more detail on what was inside the dishes, especially for those who are new to Malaysian dishes.
Good restaurant… food was okay no bad.. inside of the restaurant was soo cold
