Thanks so much Josh, the new chef at Tasman, bringing your impressive Melbourne restaurant experience to Tasmania.
The scallops, oysters, salmon and pumpkin gnocchi all blew us away, all cleansed beautifully by the watermelon pomegranate & baby rocket salad. But then you wowed us with the light and deliciously fruity raspberry & vanilla mousseline with candied hazelnuts and fresh blueberries & raspberries with a thin vein of fruit of the forest jam.
Not to mention the cheese selection of soft and creamy cumin sprinkled Brie, sharp local cheddar and earthy blue vein coupled beautifully with a crisp, tasty variety of house made seeded lavosh and tasty orange myrtle marmalade. We left your restaurant feeling thrilled at how dedicated you were to showcasing the spectacular local produce at your disposal that when we sent compliments to the chef, you made a special effort to come and share with us your vision and we are so excited at the prospect of what new amazing menu you might create for our next visit.
