The best food ever. Never had better burgers anywhere. Their house beer is also top shelf. Staff were very friendly. Can't recommend highly enough. Must do in Hobart

Dearest Lads and Lassies, we visited you on a cold night in June and the joint was jumping when we arrived. Wonderful bar staff did the right thing and let us know that the kitchen was under the pump and that we could enjoy some delicious drinks, inhale the atmosphere and our meals would be served in approximately an hour if we stayed. Thats what we did and we have marked the calendar as an event to remember for ALL the right reasons. First round of drinks was a Big Boy (?) a delicious version of an old fashioned mixed by an alchemist and garnished with candied orange (essential to nibble on this between sips to enjoy the whole experience). People watching ensued with all walks of life represented - young families, grandma and granddads, hipsters, old farts (us), etc. Just prior to food service we ordered another round - The Last Word. The wizard behind the bar knocked our socks off. Our food was served and the group of teenagers seated adjacent stopped and stared - our platter had a delicious serve of almost everything on the menu. Order this - please. it was the bomb - ribs were out of this world full of smoky sticky goodness, heavenly pulled pork, WTF buffalo wings (so atomically sour and tangy our tastebuds were screaming for more), fries, the list goes on. Thanks for a great night out. I hereby declare The Winston a great wonder of the world.
Best burger i have ever had, hands down. I ordered the buffalo chicken burger. The burger wasn't dry like other places, plenty of flavoursome blue cheese sauce inside. Amazing chips that were quite salty, but that's how I like them. This place is super busy all the time, so there was only outdoor seating by the time we arrived. I'll be bringing my family here next time we're down as the food is actually worth the 40 minute wait and the sitting outside in the cold.
Absolutely superb.
From the quality beer and friendly service, to the exceptional food, it was brilliant from start to finish. So many places claim to have buffalo wings, but The Winston has a genuine dish. The pit beef sandwich is without a doubt one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten.
I wasn't convinced that the place would live up to the hype and five star reviews. I'm extremely pleased that it did and recommended it to everyone.
Get your food order in quickly if you're hungry, but it's great that they don't sacrifice quality for speed
Best wings and beer in Hobart no doubt.

This chicken avo burger was on the specials menu. So glad I tried it instead of my normal order of their chicken wings (which are sensational!). Great place for a meal!

Best burger I have ever had! Got the Big Sammy with pickles and also the fried chicken burger. Both extremely delicious. So juicy and lots of flavour! Chips were also perfection with the right amount of salt added. Very filling. Great beers on tap too, even though more expensive than I anticipated $
Awesome food, outside the box items always available. Love the Winston beers as well. Great place to have a bit of fun and a meal or snack.
