Off the beaten track and nestled between a croquet and bowls club you will find Queens park cafe, this cafe bosts beautiful photos and a brief history session about the park and some icons around the park on the exterior.
Dont underestimate the size of this cafe because it looks small on the outside but on entrance this place is actually quite big. One of the negatives of the place was one particular staff member who lacked human interaction when acknowledged, a simple "Hello", "no problem" or a smile wouldnt go astray instead of nothing at all when collecting plates or delivering food to people, the rest of the staff very nice.
Had the queens park big brekky and suprisingly well presented with again the bacon again being extremely well done and just melting in my mouth it was cooked that well, toast was nicely toasted and crunchy, the eggs cooked to perfection and I enjoyed the runny yolk. Only downside was the mushrooms, absolutely no idea what happened to them but they looked dehydrated and were tastless. The coffee really suprised me, I would not hesitate to come back here for a coffee, flavour galore that was tasted right down to the last drop, well done to the barista - keep up the fantastic job.
The airy Queens Park CafĂ©, housed in a modern building with an open-faced veranda overlooking the park, is âfamily centralâ with something for everyone. Itâs a favourite for casual family gatherings, breakfasts and lunch or just a snack with coffee. From Signature brekkie to the House specialty Chicken parmi, Ipswichâs thickest milkshake to an ice cream soda, this is fairly typical cafĂ© food serving all-day brekkie. Itâs easy to find something to suit all tastes. Our Spring roll salad and Seafood chowder are well-priced accessible light meals. However, weâre most impressed with the service. Thereâs a brigade of mostly young wait staff, cheery and fresh, eagerly clearing tables and delivering meals â some of the best-trained and most conscientious service weâve seen in some time. Inspiring!
One of the best kept secrets in Ipswich. A great range of foods, great service and really good coffee. Have been here several times since current owners took over and will continue to come back. Fast service and friendly staff.

On a recent weekend drive out of town, we came across this delightful cafe. Â We weren't expecting much but were pleased to find this very pleasant spot. Â The food is family-orientated; safe choices, and lots of it. Â The service is outstanding; I take my hat off to the manage/trainer - or maybe the girls are just lovely in themselves!? Â We had between us a Works burger, salt and pepper calamari and a bowl of chips. Â The calamari was tender and tasty with a well flavoured coating. Oh and the thickshakes are sooo thick and flavoursome. The burger had beetroot and pineapple and all the other Aussie things you expect. Â It had homemade relish which pleased hubby as so many places don't put any on, and they end up being dry. Â It is a huge and airy space set amongst the trees in the park, with a lovely open air feel. Â If you want a meal that will set you up for the day (we didn't need dinner) in a lovely spot with outstanding service, this is the place for you. Â And you can take the kids for a walk in the animal enclosure nearby after your meal.
We took our daughter and two granddaughters for morning tea after a long and exhausting play at the park. The staff were helpful and patient in helping us select food for our dairy intolerant girls and we were really pleased with the quality and thankful for the hospitality. Good value in the true sense; not cheap but worth every dollar to have such a service available. Obviously run by people with an appreciation of being accomodating and welcoming. Thank you.
Lovely place. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience, WIll visit again and recommend to my friends and family. Lots on the menu to try and hopefully will not disappoint
It's a Gem!. Can't believe we overlooked this little gem in the past.
Beautiful surroundings, good service, really delicious, well presented cafe meals.
At first we did think some dishes were a bit pricey, but given the overall experience was so pleasing, well worth it.
Between us we had trio of dips, bread, soup, spring rolls, fish and salad, nachos, quiche, waffles, some other decadent dessert, I can't recall the name just now, and a couple of milkshakes. Scrumptious!
One small flaw, for us, is that we have to pay up front, which means we have to pay again, and again, should we decide to have something more than our initial order. Just slightly inconvenient.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Can't go wrong here. There is nothing negative to say at all about Queens Park Cafe. Food is always great and the menu is extensive. I often have meetings here because the menu can accommodate the fussy ones. Not over-priced. Amenities are close by, ramp for wheelchair access and it's just a really comfortable, relaxing atmosphere here. There are always mossies around so if you're not a fan, remember the repellant. A popular place for the elderly as well :)
Amazing service and even better food! We came here for brunch on a busy, rainy day and still had the best experience. The portion sizes are so big that we couldnât finish it and they had heaps of gluten free options for our friend. We will definitely be back here!

A really lovely venue with indoor and outdoor seating and a pretty comprehensive selection of dishes including mains, desserts and snacks. We actually intended to stop in for ice cream only but were seduced by the delicious smells wafting past our noses. Two main meals, drinks and dessert came to $52. Not a bad price, especially for the ambiance of the place. It's family friendly with wheelchair and stroller access and public toilet is located on the same building. Staff were lovely, facilities were clean and the food was lovely.
Always a great place to have a snack or meal..Very popular in school holidays,and during the festive season.You are able to reserve a table,can be queues at busy meal times.
Breakfast coffee and fruit and nut toast very nice. Great service with a smile.
Had breakfast here with my best friend on Saturday morning. The staff are friendly and courteous and very efficient. I have to give them 10/10 for cleanliness. As soon as customers left from their tables, the staff were straight there to clean up. Great work keep it up. I will definately go back đ

I ordered a chicken, cheese and mayo toastie and a large coffee.
The wait time was incredibly fast considering how busy they were, so kudos to the kitchen staff, you guys rock!!
And the wait staff for bringing it in a timely fashion....
