Meals were delicious. Friendly / homely atmosphere.
Started with the Thai Pumpkin soup.
I had the Hawaiian Parmigiana and hubby had the seafood mixed grill.
Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent.
Parma was huge - so bring your appetite.
Took the brandy snaps home with us.
Must must must visit while here in Launy.

Went here for dinner for birthday with 35 friends.... we had the $30 set menu and there was a huge choice to choose from. The food was great, service good too and staff friendly and helpful.
The best steak in Launceston. Consistently good quality, cooked exactly to order. Friendly staff. Nice salad bar to go with your meal. Veggies were cooked well too.

Ate lunch today at Steves. Where the meal may have lacked in areas the exceptional staff made the experience very pleasant. Chantelle (excuse me if spelling incorrect) was exceptional and is a credit tot the facility.
I had the garlic prawns, followed by the brandy snaps, and a cappuccino.
While the prawns were probably a fraction over cooked for my liking, the exceptional garlic cream sauce was the perfect partner.
A well made cappuccino in a restaurant is becoming more rare by the day. Couldn't fault today's effort - perfect coffee to complement the dessert.
Brandy snaps were unfortunately piped with cream from a can- which was a little disappointing because on the same plate was a perfect scoop of French cream with some bitter dark chocolate pieces. If that cream was whipped and piped into those brandy snaps it would have been a 10/10 dessert.
All in all a pleasurable lunch. Happy diners were seen about the room. I feel $28 for garlic prawns is high end - but I would happily pay the $4.60 for a cappuccino of that quality every day if I could.
Don't know if there is a "Steve" at Steve's grill - but if this customer can offer some advise - Hang on to your staff - made dining there a happy experience.
Wonderful to see friendly, bubbly, enthusiastic staff who actually want to be there. Breath of fresh air! Thank you and eye fillet was delicious :)
This is A very nice establishment, but slightly pricey. Menu needs more explanation. My main course the 'light meal' Duck Leg, was one leg but with a range of Roasted vegetables, not mentioned in menu... So for 'light', I assumed no extras and ordered a large plate of fries to go with meal. Only a good size meal came out along with the large chips that predominantly went waisted! However everyone could not fault their meals and although reasonably high priced will defiantly find a way back.

Always so accommodating. Happy to do a later booking if needed when we're running late heading up from Hobart! Menu has something for everyone, smaller and larger meals. Plates are hot (rare thing these days!) and the meals and service are always awesome. It's our go to when in Launnie!
Best meal I have had in so long. Amazing service and well worth the money spent. The staff were amazingly efficient and friendly. Haven't had service like this in years 💯😋🤩
Absolutely fantastic service, friendly staff and seriously good food. Portion sizes are spot on for the money,and an excellent selection of food on the menu and a great wine/drinks list. Seriously my new favourite in launceston

The food was fresh. Kasey didn't allow us to over-order. She looked after us and our 18-month-old, suggested the best dishes based an our food choice, gave us plenty of space because of our child. Basically went over and above to ensure we had a great time. There were some extra benefits of staying at the Centennial. The food tasting great was just a bonus.
