Best butter chicken in town! And the tandoori mushrooms were so flavoursome and juicy!
Not feeling in the mood to cook, and craving some amazing curry I decided to order from Tandoori Cottage. Our meal was ready in a timely manner and the staff were friendly when I picked it up.
Our meals were spiced beautifully and the portions were generous. The garlic naan is so addictive, with a really nice texture. The rice was cooked well and the butter chicken was delicious and creamy with tender pieces of chicken. Overall, it was a good option for takeaway, and we enjoyed our meal.
Butter chicken is amazing, the cheese naan is sensational. It’s a must order. The chicken rice is great but a touch too expensive. I really don’t enjoy the lamb and beef dish, it’s cooked perfectly, tender and falling apart but the flavour is average. The service is average, seems to be more focus on takeaway business these days

I know what you're thinking, it's a Saturday afternoon and you just need to eat some good ol fashioned delicious food. Tandoori Cottage really did not disappoint. To the point where it's a Monday afternoon, and I'm STILL thinking of the Butter Chicken.
Chicken Tika is amazing! The flavour is delicious, the sauce is tangy, spicy and adds so much to the meal. Accompanied with the nan bread, it makes for a great lunch! Friendly staff, cheap prices and quality food. Highly recommended.
I’ve been to many Indian restaurants and this place serves up some of the best food I’ve tasted. We ordered the butter chicken, beef vindaloo and garlic naan and now we can say we’ve found our go to Indian restaurant.
Best tandoori chicken I've tasted in all of Melbourne!! Great service and the joint was absolutely spotless!! I have been coming here for many here and its ways amazing.
Our favourite Indian in east Malvern. We’ve only had take away from here however everything we’ve had is fantastic. My favourite is the chicken butter cream and my wife loves the Dahl

Discover this place thanks to a word to mouth. Loved it. We ordered cheesy naan, lamb korma and butter chicken. The lamb was amazingly tender, butter chicken was spot on. The restaurant is nothing special inside, but you don't go to restaurant for the chairs right?? 😅

Only issue..when picking up phone order it is NEVER ready on time..always have to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. Annoying.

Tried their takeaway tonight. It was so yummy! Got the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala. Their sauce is so rich and creamy. It's a flavour explosion! Get their Naan bread bread too
Really delicious food, well priced and very fast. We had the butter chicken, lamb madras, kutchumber salad and pistachio kulfi, extremely tasty :)
Great place to have good Indian curries in reasonable price. Friendly staff, waited quite a long to get my t/w order but it was worth to wait. Strongly recommended.
The food was delicious as always. Tandoori chicken was succulent. The various curries were tasty and meats so tender. Need to return more frequently.
