Generous servings of quality food. Innovative menu. Fresh ingredients. Tasty. Just sensational.
A nice cafe for coffee and cake. The cafe has a nice atmosphere and staff were warm and welcoming. I like the comfortable feel here.
I was only passing through, so didn't get to try any of the menu items; but they did have a nice selection of cakes, and I enjoyed my cake and coffee. Servery & Spoon is a lovely venue, and I will be back for some of the brunch items.
There's an interesting story behind this. After an intensive morning combat session, the potatoe and I used the gym's steamer to better cleanse our stinky bodies. An experience it was being a first timer as I recall fumbling into the steamy room and staring intently at the lad sitting in the corner in his bonds shorts before I shyly closed the door, determined to wait for potatoe to guide me through the steamer's etiquette.
Cool place to grab some food with friends during the week end. Recommend the brekky menu oat porridge, egg Benedict, cheese croquette, pumpkin fritters, the chicken congee and of course the classic big brekky.
Seriously the best fritters I ever had in Melbourne! Coffee is delicious too. Waiters are a bit slow, but the food definitely makes up for it.
I went on a Sunday afternoon with a friend for lunch as we were invited by the owners to try their cafe. Immediately when you walk in, it feels cosy and warm. A lot of young families, and students.
We had the dukkah crumbed eggs, and the nasi goreng. The nasi goreng was a standout, I wasn't expecting this, the complex flavours, the bite of the rice, the spices, it was a great comfort dish. Highly recommended. I was less into the dukkah crumbed eggs, it's always a challenge when you crumb egg with dukkah, and maintaining that flavour when you fry the egg. That said, we ate it.
Coffee was decent. Service was friendly and they were attentive to everyone.
They have a fridge full of pre-made meals if you don't feel like cooking. I like how diverse they are. I didn't ask any questions but there's a lot of art work on the walls, and I understand they do drawing classes. There was a band playing mellow versions of pop hits which was a nice change. They were pretty good.
All in all, a great cafe wanting to be the local's choice. Enough quirks to give it personality, but not trying to be too cool for school, a pleasant vibe.
Nice and quite little cafe. Have some big tables that can accomodate big groups. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the shashukla where as my husband ordered the corn and pumpkin fritters. My dish was ok, above average but my husband’s dish is good! Will come me back to try other things.

Servery & Spoon reminds me of a quaint little cafe in the bush - really beautiful well presented tasty food with fantastic service. Worth definitely coming out here for a trip. Very impressive!
A spacious cosy cafe located in Caulfield near Monash Uni.
We came here for a weekend brunch catch up. The restaurant was spacious and had different sections making it feel cosy.
Drinks: Golden Latte & Flat White.
Food: Pumpkin & Corn Fritters and Tusian Sakshouka with lamb
I had the baked eggs with extra lamb. It was the perfect meal for a rainy day, warm and comforting. There was a generous piece of toast as well as 2 extra poached eggs on top of the baked eggs. It is definitely a protein packed meal.
My friend had the fritters (which I got a chance to try). Definitely one of the largest fritters we have ever had. There were 3 large fritters topped with sweet potato crisps. The Fritters were tasty and had a punch of flavour.
A lovely cafe with a huge space that can seat many people inside. Luckily we were seated straight away. Went for the Moroccan Slow Cooked Lamb Salad and the Crispy Dukkah Eggs as they stood out to us from the menu.
The Moroccan salad was delightful- it didn’t even taste like a salad. Although it didn’t seem like it at first, there were generous amounts of pulled lamb in the salad, which we were very pleased by. The portion ratio of greens to pulled lamb was perfect, and left us feeling satisfied but not too heavy on the stomach.
Crispy Dukkah Eggs was certainly not a let down either. Such crispy and perfectly cooked eggs. The only thing I would point out was that the sourdough bread was very tough, and made it quite difficult to cut.
I was pleased to be invited to Servery and Spoon on the weekend. I’d never heard of it so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to a bustling venue and extensive space. Its handy location nearby Chadstone makes its a great pre-shopping option for me. There’s a whole heap of things going on; not only do they sell bread but they also boast frozen meals to take home and an array of other items including soaps, jewellery and cards.
I opted for a chai (note the Zomato menu listed here is not current) which was full of flavour. Nothing worse then ordering a chai that tastes like mildly fragrant milk.
Food wise my dining companion took up the eggs any way you like and added a side of cheese kransky for something different.
The pumpkin and corn fritters sure did sound good but I went for the dukkah eggs instead which was their rendition of smashed avocado. This was a generously proportioned dish with two pieces of sourdough and two eggs garnished with crispy kale. Nothing like a good smashed avo in my humble opinion!
We also tried the Tunisian shakshouka with the slow cooked lamb. Again a generous serving size with two perfectly poached eggs atop a tomato base with melty smoked mozzarella served alongside two pieces of bread. Garnished with a wedge of lemon the acidity cut through the rich tomato sauce and really elevated the flavour of the mixed spices.
The venue was full to brim with locals and families enjoying themselves which is always a tell tale sign of quality. And with a multitude of cakes supplied by Little Bertha the experience only gets better!
Nice open space, friendly service, nice breakfast. The Salmon fritters were delicious. The chai latte was a little watery / runny. The plates they use are really nice. Loved them.
The service was really nice. We could order at the table and they created a Babyccino, even it was not on the menu. We shared the pancakes and they were delicious. The tasted It was no problem to get a second plate for our little one. It is a nice place to sit in, but you get coffee to go as well, what we did the day before.
Nice atmosphere nice food ... I really like the place and their decoration so much arty and elegant.
Fantastic work! Lovely service and amazing food. So many options - everyone's meal looked and tastes delicious!
Food was tasty and the staff were friendly. Price probably a little steep and my picolo came in a paper cup despite dining in. Other than that, don't hesitate to give Servery and Spoon a visit!
Been three times, and ordered a different dish for each sitting. Every one has been delightful.
Good food, nice and quiet and cafe. I have enjoyed my meal here
