Been eating regularly at Taco Bill Malvern East for 5 years now, and it's easily my favourite Tex-Mex restaurant in Melbourne.
We lived close by back when we first started going but since moving we still make the longer trip, past several other local Tex-Mex options, to this spot on the corner of Toronga and Wattletree.
Not only is the food delicious and bountiful, but the family-friendly atmosphere and customer service is delightful and warm. Each time we eat there the owner comes out and talks with us personally to ensure our food and overall experience was top-notch, and it always is.
Food, service and comfort, quite simply, I won't eat at any other Taco Bill nor Tex-Mex establishment!

Wonderful customer service, good food and really family friendly. We’ve been customers for years both dining in and having take-away regularly. We are always treated very well.
On Thursday 8th March 2018 I went there once and I had the Beef Fajitas but it upset my stomach so it was extremely nice of Jesse to send me a Taco Bill Mexican Restaurants Gift Certificate for $25 to say sorry for the inconvenience. Since the Gift Certificate didn't arrive it was extremely nice of him to send me a replacement with Registered Post.
Don't know why people don't speak highly of the Taco Bill chains because my experience was not one to forget. The food was freshly prepared and just tasty. Received complimentary chip and salsa as we were deciding what to eat - ordered regular nachos, beef fajita and beef quesadilla.
Honestly can't complain about anything, maybe a bit more guac with the nachos but all the food tasted well made and fresh. My rice was fluffy, beef well cooked and seasoned, my friend's quesadilla was packed full of flavour. Service was great too - they were always checking in!
Love eating here - serving sizes are generous and atmosphere is great (not too noisy!). Definitely my favourite Mexican place, family loves to go every holiday.
Had dinner here tonight. Lovely place, very friendly staff and great service. Delicious food, crunchy nachos, excellent flavours, fresh ingredients and very kids friendly! The kids enjoyed the best chips ever and got to have colouring sheets to keep occupied. Best Mexican food we've ever had, a lot better than some taco bills. Will definitely come back with more friends! The food was looking so yummy I even forgot to take photos before they were gone, only managed to get one... well next time will remember to feed the camera first.
Best straight up, crispy Taco in Melbourne! Great service, good old fashioned decor. Jesse and his team are unrelenting in their attention to detail. Have been here many times and will go many more. Not to be mistaken with any other Taco Bill, Malvern East is remarkable!
Kind of cool atmosphere. The service is very friendly, efficient and the food is what it says it is. The staff are very kid friendly too which makes for a good night out with the family.
