When it comes to dining out, I act like a 16 year old kid getting his first car. I literally check out multiple different sites and go through tons of reviews to narrow down to about 3 must try dishes. And once I arrive, I always cross-check by asking the waiter what he/she would get. So once my research was done, I was expecting to dine at a nice tiny cozy family-owned restaurant - but I was pleasantly surprised how spacious and modern it was. Even had a bit of classy vibe going with its dark oak flooring and tables.
So we ended up getting Pop Chicken ($17), Taiwanese Sausage Fried Rice ($16), and Wasabi Mayo Prawns ($12). I know they sound pretty basic but they were truly delicious and rather unlike any other dish I've ever had (well, except for Wasabi Mayo Prawn. Not my fav).
I don't know what sort of sorcery they pulled but their fried rice was friken delicious. Like I was genuinely shook. I'm guessing they used some sort of magical sauce to make them so flavourful. Not to mention, having these small tempura bits mixed with the rice really added unexpectedly amazing texture. Definitely will get it again next time.
Pop chicken tasted like an upgrade version of one of those gigantic fried chickens people carry around in the city (you know, those big ass Hot Star fried chickens in a blue wrapper). Think of it as a more tender and flavourful version of that.
Never been to the shop, though we love ordering takeaway from them, not the most authentic Taiwanese flavour for the Taiwanese sausage fried rice, but still quite delicious my partner’s favourite. Love the tempura shrimp and the soft shelf crab fried rice!

Took away peko2 after hearing so much about it. Man, this place rocks! If the takeaway tastes so good, the dine in experience must be even more awesome.
Everything we ate was crunchy and delicious, the only downside is I was a bit thirsty at the end of it, but it’s worth it. The popcorn chicken came with kewpie mayo and fish sauce. It was just so crunchy and addictive. Even the fried rice was topped up with crunchy condiments. Well seasoned, perfectly fried and delicious at every bite. All in all, fantastic food if you fancy Taiwanese fast food
