Nice food and coffee. Friendly staffs too.
A must visit in Melbourne city.
It might not be easy to spot, but definitely worth your time to explore them.
Great food, great atmosphere. Spot on for brunch!
Really enjoyed this little beauty in a quiet street in the heart of the CBD. Cool vibe, quick service and some good choices on the menu. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a bite to eat somewhere close to Melbourne Central
A classic Melbourne cafe hidden down an obscure alleyway behind a largely unmarked door. The interior has a great industrial, warehouse sort of vibe. The food is well-executed, covering all the classics: eggs on toast, porridge, French toast, smashed avo, etc etc. Points for gluten-free options and good coffee.
Can’t believe I have only discovered this gem lately in the beautiful Guildford Lane. Very much in love with their rustic feel which represents Melbourne very well. I had their soy latte - smooth and delicate. My colleagues had their coffee and agree that it’s great too. The owners are friendly and helpful with my request. Will come back to try the food.
In a converted warehouse in one of Melbourne's fabulous laneways, Krimper is a fantastic cafe which has a cool atmosphere. My only real complaint is that there isn't a lot of natural light, so it can be quite dark at times. However, there is plenty of room, and it's quite comfortable.
This place can get quite busy, but still has lovely and friendly service. The coffee is really good, and I've had in the cafe and as takeaway. The menu is also really good, but my latest visit involved some delicious cookies and brownies. The perfect spot for a long brunch, or even better for a quick caffeine fix; Krimper has managed to survive in Melbourne's busy cafe scene sticking to what it does well, which is make fabulous coffee.
The new Zomato system makes it rough to rate restaurants properly, however we think Krimpers deserves a 4.5 as it simply is a cut above the rest!
Whilst our chai latte and hot chocolate were good (add some sugar for better taste) and our wait times were a little longer than average, all of that evaporates the moment you taste the food. The big breakfast and the karaage burger were our prey today- and we do not regret it a single bit. Delicious from the outset, the big breakfast has it all; chorizo, avocado, egg, sourdough, hash browns and yoghurt. Everything was simply exceptional. The flavours culminate together to add a bounty of flavour with each bite. Eggs are perfect, avocado is fresh, and the sauces all add a huge influx of memorable flavours. The burger is also a cut above the rest. Immense, unique tastes that mix together much better than most burger / brunch establishments. A brioche bun with the absolute best sauces makes for a very memorable meal (chips were very good too).
Food here is a must try from us, really recommend it and set within a very rustic, ambience? A must for many!

Place is hidden in the centre of the city. The interior is vintage/hipster looking but the bathroom is clean and modern. This place is lovely and warm. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
A real “Melbourne” cafe! The coffee is good, and I really enjoyed my croissant with jam. I love how well spaced out the tables are, so you can have private conversations without including your neighbours. Staff are super friendly too!

You know you've had a good meal five days after you've eaten, and Krimper managed to provide just that. Mere metres from the insanity that is the sport of queuing on Hardware Street is Krimper, possibly the most Melbourne cafe that ever existed. A warehouse in an alleyway, located on Guildford Lane near Short Stop and some crazy rainbow jaffle place. It's beautifully decorated inside, a random assortment of furniture and some dazed hipster waiters to match. The menu was quirky and different, throwing up a whole host of options that didn't involve avocado. I went for the beans and brisket and HOLY WOW, LIFE CHANGED FOREVER. Hyperbole aside, this was legit the best brunch I've had in my life. If all my brunches good like this for the rest of my living days, I'd probably not have many more living days. But that's beside the point. Just eat there now.
Went here after discovering it on Google and was not disappointed. The coffee was perfect drinking temperature, without feeling like it had sat out for too long. The staff were accommodating, even in the early morning rush. Our food was fresh, but our toast was a bit dry and food was the French toast lacked any almond flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed out meal here and highly recommend to all passing.
Had a good time there! Health food, large size, different colours... it has everything you need! Perfect location and easy to get there. Will come back next time.
Such a groovy cafe offering all day breakfast. This place is tucked away in a hidden Melbourne lane and is definitely worth the visit. Great service, a large section of both breakfast and lunch options, and delcious coffee. My partner and I both ordered poached eggs on toast and added on some extras. The food came out really quickly and was really decently priced.

Hidden cafe tucked in a quiet beautiful street. Crowded and busy, expect some waiting. Lots of locals, definitely a good spot for brunch.
Excellent service - waiter took your coffee/tea order as they sat you down at the table, before waiting for your food order.
There was no urgency to rush you to place food orders.
They checked in with you after you start having your meal.
Excellent food. Ordered Belgium waffles with bacon. A good mix of sweet and savoury. Good attention to detail. Instagramable plating.
Krimper cafe is located in one of the coolest location in Melbourne. They offer delicious food and it is a good serving sizes. And it has nice and comfortable atmosphere with cozy interior. However you need to be aware of there is a long time for the food to be served! But i still love this place as it is worth to visit!
Located in one of the picturesque alleys of Melbourne, Krimper Cafe offers delicious food and excellent customer service. The Macha latte was really yummy and I wish I have ordered the large size instead of regular. When most of the cafes these days specialises on minimalism, Krimper is still not ready to gave up the memories of good old days. While many would find this idyllic style with not well lit interior quite attractive, I am not a big fan of it. I wish there was outdoor seating. The service was top notch and the Asian ladies were extremely courteous. I tried brunch by myself for the first time and I wish I chose somewhere quieter. Don’t get me wrong, this place is very good for large groups. But if you are someone who is looking to have some mindfulness, or even to get some work done, then I wouldn’t recommend this place.
the food & location are wonderful. the interior is a rustic & lofty which complements the plant-filled alley.
they were very clearly understaffed. what was meant to be a quick brunch ended with a 20 minute wait to be seated (as expected on a Sunday), and over an hour to get our orders on the table. the workers there were extremely sweet & lovely people. They repeatedly apologised for the delays & issues, no biggie, i could empathise.
if you don't mind your company & aren't starving, the food is well worth the wait! their coffee is also great. reasonable pricing for the portions & taste ($30 for a coffee & main, including weekend/card surcharges)
Outstanding coffee, excellent food.
Probably one of the best coffees I've ever had.
We ordered eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs, both were excellent!
Highly recommended
