The beef here was so mouth wateringly amazing that everywhere else that I've been since just doesn't live up to my new standards. Seriously this was the best Korean BBQ beef I've ever had. all the different types of beef we got was crazy good. Though its a bit pricey so if I ever decide to go back, it would have to be a very special occasion.
It’s cold outside. Inside it is warm. There is beautiful meat, tasty stew, fresh beer and more. You can’t have this experience at home , but now you Can have it
Probably one of my favourite KBBQ places I've visited. Great value for money for the sets in my opinion, as well as good portions and a great variety of sides and meats. Everything tasted very nice and staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The seafood pancake wasn't as good as other joints however. Other than that 5/5 in my books, am already planning our next visit!

Best service and food! Tried many places in Melbourne and this has got to be my new favourite place. Only issue is the sliding door, please get it fixed. Door closed on me and hit me pretty hard leaving me bruised, but food/service was so amazing that the bruise was worth it lol
Great and easy place to simply get kbb. Loved the prawns and the wagyu set is delicious every time.

Yeonga never fails to be the best in melb when it comes to kbbq! Enjoyed the yeonga odyssey set, kimchi pancake and spicy rice cakes along with rice wine. Loved the ambience, music & the meat was well cooked by the attentive staff. Would love to come here again for kbbq in the city!
Don't usually write reviews but this restaurant was especially amazing with the service that it deserves one with 5 stars. All the wait staff were very friendly and were very attentive. Best service I've had in any restaurant, even better than fancy schmancy western restaurants where I would've paid triple the price.
The food was also really really good but I'm sure there are a lot more reviews that talk about the food.
I went to Yeonga for the first time tonight and it was amazing. After just one visit I’m ready to proclaim it as my favourite KBBQ restaurant in Melb. We had the I am Marinated set for two. The food was perfect, the staff were super welcoming and friendly and the price was good. 5/5 can’t wait to return! Special mention to the worker in training that was serving our table, excellent service.
Amazing amazing service by the restaurant’s team! Appreciate the guy at the cashier’s hospitality to cater for my large family of 6 people with my grandma who is in a wheelchair. Will recommend this place to my friends and family, as not only is the service good, but the food too! Portions were good too, super happy! 😊
The food are exceptional! I liked going there because a staff is cooking the food for us. In my recent visit, we had to cook them for ourselves. I don't know much about Korean food so we rely the cooking on them. Getting a booking for the weekend dinner is very hard; it is always fully booked. It means this place is very special. I can tell it from my experience. The staff are friendly too and welcoming.
Great dinning experience. Staff are welcoming, very organized and attentive. We had LA ribs, Beef tartar, beef dice, seafood pancake and pork. Love all the dishes. Their pancakes are fluffy and flavorful, one of the best I had in Melbourne.
Beef dice is impressive, not many Korean BBQ serves beef dice.
Definitely returning to try their other dishes!

Yeonga is one of my favourite kbbq restaurants if you can get a booking so make sure to call at least a few days in advance to make a booking to avoid the long wait (can be a 2 hour wait). There’s something special about sharing a meal with friends by cooking meat with friends and sharing it, everyone has their preferences. Some like it medium, some prefer we’ll done, some don’t pay attention and it burns. Don’t be that person. It’s always busy and the price is affordable. We ordered the set and other items. You now get handed a menu where you circle what you want which is efficient.

Pork kimchi soup was amazing. Side dishes can be top up for free. The grill is my first time seeing and it comes with so extra side dishes which heats up while grilling.
Extremely nice! Had wagyu, beef ribs,beef tartar, kimchi noodle, pork belly! Quality of meat was great and service was impressive! All staffs were so kind, fast and keeping to check on us if anything needed

Came without a booking just as they opened and was given a table straight away, with a time limit of 1.5h which was plenty for a meal. The beef brisket was good, but the wagyu scotch fillet was even better. Super soft and juicy, I'd go back just for it. I also liked how they included corn cheese as one of the side dishes, since that's my must-order at every korean restaurant, and it was really good. Loved the seafood pancake as well. Staff was friendly and quite attentive, they were prompt in handling the cooking for us.
Yeonga is a Melbourne institution that has been running strong for several years. I've had mixed feelings over the years, but fortunately experiencing more pleasant visits recently. The service has improved dramatically — everyone is attentive and lovely.
Between four adults, we ordered:
- "A Yeonga Odyssey" set which had LA Galbi (ribs), pork belly x 2, wagyu chuck eye steak, and scallop x 4. It also came with a full size budae jjigae (army stew).
- Seafood pancake
- Yukke (Korean beef tartare)
- Extra rice
- Soju x 2
Meat was super fresh and marinade was fragrant when cooked on the charcoal grill. Upstairs was well ventilated. Highly recommend making a booking before you visit as it can get really busy.
Great Korean BBQ restaurant. Loved this experience. The food was so delicious, fresh ingredients, reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.
