Excellent coffee, awesome people and Butterbing! What more could you ask for?
This is the best cafe in Melbourne
Hands down one of the best coffees I’ve had in the CBD. The staff is really friendly and the vegan sweets are absolutely delicious. The coffee has a rich texture that adds to the amazing flavour.
Speciality coffee shop with small bites, skip the food and just come for the coffee. There were a few seats available so we got comfortable and waited for our respective coffees.
Just by the colouration I could tell that it was going to pack some richness, it was strong and velvety and a tad fruity. The foam maintained it's integrity for most of the drinking experience which gives you a creamy mouthfeel each sip.
Another excellent coffee shop, adding this spot to my ever growing list of favourite pit stops.
i really loved this place! the mocha i had was so yum!! and the nutella donut was really satisfying! and i really love the atmosphere in here. it was dimly lit and cosy and i loved the music playing. it was funky and relaxing. one song was in french, which reminded me of Alizee, which is always a good thing! 😍 Cant wait to come back here for another coffee again :)

Public service announcement: @littlebeanblue serves one of the best coffees close to Parliament station!
*
Overall score: 18/25 or ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
in 5 words: Top coffee choice at Parliament
*
Taste ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I’ve ordered coffees from neighbouring coffee places close to Parliament and none come close to LBB! Using cartel coffee beans, the coffee was flavourful, strong and the perfect pick me up before a meeting! I have also ordered the banana bread here and they toast + add butter for you despite the large morning crowd. It was crunchy at the edges, not too sweet and packed with banana flavour.
*
Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - LBB occupies a small coffee shop. There are some seats but most people takeaway. Strategic location.
*
Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️- Coffee was standard at $4. The banana bread was $4.5.
*
Presentation ⭐️⭐️⭐️- No special coffee cup design. Just good coffee here.
*
Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - the baristas are consistently friendly and kind every time I visit. This probably explains why they are an office crowd favourite!
Cranberry and walnut meringue cupcake. This cupcake isn't like an ordinary soft one, it's made of crunchy hazelnut meringue with bits of cranberry inside. Tastes totally amazing when having each bite with the cream cheese frosting on top. Not a fan of the chewy toffee candy on top but creates a small bitter effect to the sweet (cream) and sour (cranberry) tastes for an awesome flavour fusion.

Another city coffee destination that I tried recently. Coffee was great! Definitely in-line with the high CBD standard, the flavour was very nice. They also had a great selection of sandwiches and wraps which I might have to try next time.
Located near the corner of Spring Street, this place has good coffee, good music, and a great sit down vibe. I'll be back next time I have another break this end of town.
I really do enjoy Cartel Coffee, and I like that I don't have to travel to Geelong for it because the LBB guys choose to have it as their house blend and single origin offerings. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves a natural coffee. Food wise, there is limited room here for anything other than the basics. You wouldn't come here to have a fine dining experience, lets put it that way....but you would come for a great coffee on the go, which suits the city.
Had a strong cappuccino and it did not disappoint; not only was the coffee flavour strong enough as requested, it had a rich dark chocolaty note to it, amplified by the chocolate dusting on top of the froth. The cappuccino was not watery or milky and had a good froth to liquid ratio, maybe the only thing that was missing from this cup was some artwork but I guess that really depends on the barista's mood.
Nice funky space. Right mix of industrial and warm surfaces. Awesome sound system. 10/10 too for music choice. Lovely coffee here. Clearly good beans and well made indeed. Melbourne standard coffee and you can't give higher praise than that. The staff are lovely including the Irish who are rarely anything other than cool, friendly and happy in my experience. Had a nice egg, bacon and spinach brioche as well which hit the spot nicely. This place strikes me as a very stable option.
I loved the decoration, the chart on the black board was interesting telling you what sort of person is the most likely to get a coffee. The coffee was superb if it was not that I might get a heart attack i will def get a second one. The owner being the soul of the cafe was really friendly, you feel like he is just a friend even it’s the first time you ever see him. My go to place in Melbourne 😀
Really good coffee. Great tunes, and a friendly crew serving. Narrow little cafe, indistrial decor, some outdoor seating.
No fuss cafe with clean design lines, great coffee and efficient and friendly service. Nice owner who looks like hes working hard every day.
One of my favorite coffee spots in Melbourne. Fantastic coffee. Made with care and artistry.
Located near the corner of Spring Street, this place has good coffee, good music, and a great sit down vibe. I'll be back next time I have another break this end of town.
Good place for a coffee before work. Sadly they do not open during the weekends.
Love the coffee and the atmosphere. Friendly and down to earth team who are always down for a chat. They are very efficient in making coffees and no matter how busy they are they still deliver quality coffees with a smile.
The Cafe itself is modern and inviting. I've tried other cafes within the vicinity and this is the only place that I can get this ambience and quality coffee.
