The pho is amazing! Lots of flavor!
I love the place. I live a block down on Elizabeth st and my partner and myself go here very often. The staff are an awesome bunch of people, the cooks are experts at Vietnamese cuisine and I’ve never been disappointed.
I like this place for pho. It's cheap and quick and eases my pho craving. I usually get the small bowl with beef and meat balls. When dipped in hoi sin sauce, omg so nice. I liked some chili and lemon juice in the broth too.
Their phở was served with more generous topping of meat compared to other places I've eaten in Melb. The soup was hot and tasty. Staff was very friendly and fast. It was a satisfying meal.
I’m having Spicy Chicken Pho and put more chilli in, is so delicious and I really enjoy it. Services is great and didn’t wait for the food for too long. Thanks.
Decent, spicy beef and pork noodle soup. Serving was nice and filling, good for a freezing night. Service good, and they take card.
Good for a quick meal in the evening.
Ordered rare beef and beef meat balls in medium. Portion was great. Broth was tasty and beef was delicious. Service was average. A word of caution, your clothes might smell of Pho after eating here. Mine did.
Very nice soup! tasty! you shluld come and try the soup! big and very yummi!
This is my default choice for work lunches during the week, and it's a very handy spot for the CBD 9-5er. Pretty busy between rush hour, but you can get a table (or spot at the high bar) either side of the 12-1ish window.
Staff are friendly and the Pho is very enjoyable. I tend to side with their beef brisket or chicken options, as the rare sliced are a little too rare and even when put into the hot soup it doesn't cook enough for my liking.
Flavours are strong enough without being overbearing, the sizes are very generous and the staff are always welcoming. Wish they'd stick with their thicker vermicelli noodles on a constant basis though! Overall, one of the better Pho joints around the city location!
Another Pho Flinders has popped up that’s actually "on" Flinders St right next to a gentlemen’s club and near the 7-Eleven that’s on the intersection of Elizabeth/Flinders. Looking at Google maps it used to be a cafe called Flinders St Coffee.
Nice cozy little restaurant in the midst of busy streets. Quick stop for lunch/dinner after a long busy day in the city or before a night out. Bonus is also they have their own bathroom on site! So no need to go elsewhere. Yummy declious and cheap eats! They cater to individual diners or even groups (we had 3 children with us & a pram) and they were more than accommodating with us.
Great pho and good price for what you get. Would highly recommend! Staff friendly and good quality. We really enjoyed it
Update: dine in pho bowls seem to be A LOT bigger than takeaway, which is a big plus if you want to eat at restaurant but also kind of annoying when you want to just takeaway and it’s skimpy as. They also charge 50 cents for a takeaway container, which I find slightly annoying, but understandable, but annoying.
Pho taste was on point (or maybe I was just really hungry). 9/10
But the pho soup was still pipping hot when I got home- just how I like it! Rare beef and brisket were both yummy.
Great location. 10/10
I always go past Pho Flinders Express to/from work. To be honest, it’s not the most appealing looking restaurant from the outside and even on the inside.
Portion size was disappointing. 5/10
I ordered a medium pho and there were hardly any noodles!! I’m still hungry… if this is a medium pho, I wonder what the small pho is like. Or was I given a small pho when I paid for the price of a medium pho? Who knows. Either way, I will definitely try this place again! Maybe I’ll get a large pho next time and see if that’s more filling.
A very cozy restaurant located near the flinders station. The noodles and soup are perfect for the winter.
Rice meals, sandwiches and milk teas are also available.
Prices are affordable, well presented and have big portions.
My go to place when I want to grab one of my favorite comfort food to have which is Pho. Just beside flinders station and the easiest to grab pho when you are on the go.
Loved their banh mi, the bread is fresh and tasty if you arrive early.
The beef broth of the pho is flavourful as well.
Good place for vietnamese food !!
