Love the ambience of this place -really well put together & the food was yummy. Loved the walnut salad & lamb shoulder. The owner makes you feel at home & having been to Mykonos -I think they have replicated the exact feel. Perfect place for a birthday etc

Whenever you want Greek - it's always a great idea to head down to Oakleigh! Let me tell you this place is a gem! You literally walk in and feel like you are back in Mykonos! 🇬🇷
The interior is done so beautifully and was really surprising as from the front you wouldnt know what you are about to walk into.;
What would be awesome to see is live muisc bouzouki to elevate the experience to the next level!
We ordered the Kleftiko (being Cypriot i was expecting it to come out in paper) but it didnt - may i add though the taste was actually beautiful! the chips super crispy!

The decor is lovely and on the night that I went there was live music too. A little bit pricey but you do get quite a big plate of food. I had the spit roasted lamb with chips (Kontosouvli Imeras) - the meat was tasty and the chips were crunchy. It came served with lemon but I wish there was tzatziki or some kind of yoghurt sauce as the lamb is naturally quite dry. I’d personally prefer less chips in exchange for sauce with the lamb.
A general downside is that it took a bit of time for the food to come - we came in early and ordered when it wasn’t that busy either, we mostly ordered different things too. All that said, a great place to go to with family and friends. 3.5/5
It was a friend’s recommendation that brought us here and we left with happy tummy. This is not a usual Greek place with just slouvaki. We ordered lamb cutlets and pork belly. They come in big portion!! Next time we may order a few entrees and share a main dish. Best Greek we had so far!
Living very close to Oakleigh...(Little Athens) we were always drawn to Mezedakia, now unfortunately closed down so heard of Mykonos up the street. Very glad we did. Food was awesome....Saganaki, Lamb shanks, Squid, Chicken hot pot. The thing I loved is when you walk in...the open kitchen is in the front of the restaurant and the main dining is out the back. The atmosphere is typically Greek...and if you want a quiet meal find somewhere else. It is the Greek culture...Family/ Friends celebrating life and great food. Service was excellent...keep in mind it is a small area with lots of tables. Wait service do an amazing job weaving in and out. You have to book in, which I did with a simple text to Paul and texted back with booking straight away. For the folks that bagged it....If you have been to Mykonos ...you will feel at home...if your'e a walk in or takeaway...get in line and wait for ones who experience the experience....Cheers Mykonos , we will be coming back for more & more
Authentic Greek cuisine. Loved the kebabs and Mykonos salad. The chips were great too. Large portions. You won’t be disappointed or hungry.
By far the best Greek in Melbourne! I can not stop raving about it ever since I went and the response had been everyone agrees with me.
Firstly if you have never been to Mykonos just take a walk out the back of here, where you’ll find the bouzouki playing and look around you are in Mykonos! It made me miss Greece like crazy.
The food was great! The dips were definitely home made and you got a decent serve. The chips were delicious. The Greek salad tasted like all the ingredients were from the garden. The mains were 10/10! All massive and we were happy we took the waiters recommendation of ordering a few to share.
Can’t wait to be back, absolutely brilliant!
felt like we were actually in Mykonos again! had an amazing experience at this restaurant, the food, the venue, the people and the vibes 10/10. We were treated like loyalty. Not only had so much fun, but we also got fed some amazing food whilst listening to live music.
Nice ambiance and decor. It was quiet when we came which was great. Food was nice and decent serving for the price. Staff were friendly and things looked authentic.

The good: Ambient great, service ok, food as expected. Sister restaurant to Kalimera, similar fare at similar quality.
The not so good: nothing special, nothing too memorable apart from the really rally nice ambient.

Really cute restaurant, staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was delivered fast, and it was absolutely delicious. Very large meals, we got the slow cooked lamb, had to take some home because we couldn't finish it all. For the entree we had cheese which was delicious too. For two people it wasn't too expensive, it was a really good price for what you get. I highly recommend this restaurant.
What a stunning place! Great service and amazing food! Food came on time and it was so delicious, Sulvia and the staff are so nice and very welcoming will definitely go back and recommend it to my family and friends! You definitely need to try it out
Beautifully decorated restaurant which makes you feel like you are in Europe! The menu consists of some interesting dishes. The food was tasty and well portioned. Staff were friendly.
Sylvia and the team have a fabulous restaurant which creates a truly marvelous dinning experience. The food tastes amazing with large greek style portion sizes. Further, the fabulous interior (you feel like you are in Mykonos) and hospitality (by the staff) creates an amazing ambience!
We highly recommend Mykonos Restaurant Bar and we will be back for more.

What an awesome afternoon, I loved every second. We purchased white wine there which was perfectly matched to our delicious meals. I left not even thinking about the bill.
Hopefully the pictures tell the full story, the ambiance was magical, the service.... well the service was warm and genuine.
For those foodies out there, the food is about being authentic Greek and for me it achieved the flavours 97.3%. If I had to say anything the Lamb oh oh oh the Lamb, just try it, loved it.

Great Greek Islands food, prepared with love and authenticity. Quite deceptive from the front, looks small but has a Big space out the back for a large group. Recommend booking on Weekends. Staff are friendly and helpful with the menu.
Really enjoyed this place! Really feels like I’m stepping into a little part of Greece. The food is delicious and authentic, they have an extensive food and drinks menu too. The wait staff are very busy so sometimes hard to catch but they are really patient and friendly! Would come again.
