Good pub, with a nice atmosphere. Loved the steak and perfect with a crisp cold beer on tap. The outdoor setting is fantastic on a warm day.

Pretty good little pub. Toasty warm (bordering on hot) with an open fireplace and some heat lamp type things. But just what we were after on a rainy winter evening. Easy to book and a cork ceiling which meant conversation was easy. The food portions were good and complimentary bread and butter was a bonus. We both ordered the parma - I got the regular (or so I thought, it came with bacon instead of ham which I wasn’t a fan of, but it could’ve been a mix up) and my husband got the Clive Parma with double bacon. Another win was sauce with the chips. Oh and the salad. Rocket, Parmesan and pear/apple. That was good and tasty.

If i was a local you'd find me here every Tuesday night.
Honestly the Trivia night was the highlight of our little holiday in Melbourne - the place was packed with people in their twenties to sixties and from all walks of life. We were all very involved and it felt like a big family! 4 rounds of quiz and there was a (deliberately) easy question as everyone knew and we all received free wicked shots!
Pub felt rather dingy at first but then you won't see any hipsters here. Walls were adorned with pics/posters of David Bowie, rock n roll bands and the like.
Food was fantastic - plenty of choices for Vegan/vegetarian without feeling pretentious. My eggplant parma was faultless.
We will return to Townie next visit!
