First time at this Japanese restaurant and I must say the food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Will definitely be my go to place for quality Japanese cuisine, love it!
Recommended.Good little family business. Freshly prepared and good value for Japanese food. Tasty food. Tempura enjoyed.We are return customers (5 times).Nice ambience, not flashy or noisy (it is off a mall, away from traffic). A pleasant place to have dinner with friends. Families with children also dine here, (usually early). Off street parking around the corner.
Really great restaurant that does not disappoint. The food is always very good and the staff are professional and friendly. All the food is wonderful (we have tried most of the menu between us). Would highly recommend!
I LOVE SAKI! Have been coming here with my family for a few years now and it's definitely a winner. The fish is always SO FRESH and all the food is delicious. Mandy and her daughters are so nice and always amazing service! It's my favourite place to go out for dinner, it's affordable and you know everything you eat is good quality.
HIDDEN GEM!I have been coming to Saki for many, many years with my family and to us it is an absolute hidden gem. You can see the sushi genius at work in the corner of the restaurant - whom I may add has worked in this position for the 10 plus years we have been coming here. The other staff are always delightful. The dishes are brought out promptly and in an order that allows you to enjoy a few dishes at once before the next are brought out. Between my family of four we always order; California Deluxe Main, Salmon Sashimi Entree, Gyoza, Eggplant (Nasudengaku) followed up by Main Tempura (whiting or vege) and Main Beef Terriyaki (THE best i've ever come across in Melbourne). I can't believe this place has some negative reviews. I've been to Japan twice and I can tell you this place is bloody great. Go Saki!!!!!!!!
The portions here are incredibly filling and the staff are pleasant. The food is great and full of flavour - I don't eat sushi that often but it's great to be able to watch it being made out front where customers can see, and is then brought to your table. Hope to return soon!

This restaurant is wonderful!! Clean, delicious food and fantastic service. The meals come out quickly, and it is so fresh! We had sashimi, gyutataki, udon noodles with chicken and soba noodles with beef! The waitress was very helpful when we wanted some explanation about the dishes. Will be repeat customers! Very reasonably priced, and generous portions.
YUM!. The food was very nice and I will be back for it, however the mixed drinks & cocktails were a little inconsistent... Cocktails not up to par for the price.
My family has been going here for years and years ... It's a little gem ..even comparing to kokos at crown ... It comes up a star !
A little bit pricey but food was amazing. We had the tempura and gyoza for entree, katsudon and teriyaki salmon for our mains. Everything was delicious. Not to mention the dango and ice cream for dessert, definitely completes the whole course.

Extremely nice food, very fancy and delicious. Prices are extremely cheap for how amazing the food is, and the hand roles were very unique, and much better than the ones you’ll get anywhere else. The food is fresh, and all the fish related foods (sushi, sashimi, etc) are prepared right there, and don’t just sit there behind glass all day.
Freshly prepared. Efficient and polite. Small family business. Good food, great prices. Clean, quiet and a nice place for a meal with friends.
