Had dinner here last night, food was wonderful, but our service from the waiter, Alex, was exceptional, best part of the meal.
Will definitely be back soon!
I caught up with a friend there, and we ended up with peppered Squid and a special lunch - Fettuccine Lamb Ragu are superb. Squidy is so tasty, cooked perfectly. Lamb Ragu is a new dish to try. Reasonable price, really recommend to try this restaurant. Not disappointed at all.
This place was beautiful, and the service was spectacular!!! I had the gnocchi with pumpkin purée it was delish👌🏾 so good it melted in my mouth😱😱😱😱😱, my MR he had the lamb ragu pasta ohhhhhhhhhh it was so nice! The meat just fell into bits and melted in my mouth( YES I HAD TO TRY IT😂😂😂😂) my little mr had penne carbonara in the kids meal, was impressed we didn't have to mention to bring out his meal first it came out right away👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾, the service was so good, had a very lovely experience here, we shall be back.
Authentic Italian family business with great authentic flavour. Friendly staff and great service. Love the environment and food there. Definitely a good place for small or large group gathering. A must go place at Lygon!!

Lamb awesome. The pasta dishes is hell for me. Three choice made me heaven. Everything perfect. As always. Wanna Italian go to lygon. Will come back.

My family & i thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals. The goat on the specials board in particular. It was wonderful. The service was ok, but could be improved slightly with a little more experienced staff rather than younger inexperienced staff. It would just complete the whole dining experience. Dimattinas has been around for a long time so it must say something. Good restaurants last!! If the service could match the well flavoured & balanced food, it would be perfect..

Absolutely amazing, as always. Every time I have visited another Melbourne I eat here. This place is so busy, for a good reason, the food is amazing. Btw the Limoncello is from Sorrent, Italy and it is amazingly good.
Great food and atmosphere. Best pesto pasta I've had in a long time. The Maitre D went out of his way to accommodate for our dietary requirements (gluten free and vegan) and provided great table service. Whilst there was one meal which was made differently to how we had ordered it, which resulted in an extra 15-20m wait time, the Maitre D was very apologetic and didn't charge us corkage due to the inconvenience. Prices were also very reasonable. All in all, a great experience. Highly recommended.
