Does it look good? Yes. Is it Instagram worthy? Sure. But will I go back? Pshh, Never. A classic example of "aesthetics over taste". I tried their iconic sea salt ice cream which tasted okay - a combination of savoury and sweet. It sure was interesting but definitely not interesting enough considering its price.
Overall, I still think it's worth a visit because it does look gorgeous and sea salt ice cream is indeed unique enough for you to try it at least once. But just be aware that you are essentially paying for the aesthetics of the soft serve than the actual taste.
The home to amazing soft serve! Absolutely love how they always have different flavours and my favourite has got to be their sea salt soft serve.
Its so different and i love the balance between sweet and salty, the textures of the soft serve are so smooth and i really enjoyed it
Cant wait to them to bring on the pandan soft serve because it was amazing
I had the pleasure of trying Aqua S new creations - ice cream popsicles! They come in two flavours - Black Hawaiian (vegan) and Taro OG (gluten free).
I loved how the ice cream was very light here, whilst still smooth and creamy. It’s very refreshing, not too sweet, and easy to gobble down without making you feel full. My favourite was the Taro OG - I loved the white chocolate coating which gave it a bit of crunch, and the taro chips at the bottom were so addictive! The taro ice cream also has adzuki beans inside which is a great combo! The Black Hawaiian was on the softer side - the ice cream is made from coconut and cacao. It’s a very subtle and unique flavour, and the texture is quite soft and creamy. I loved the crushed biscuit “sand” base (which is also vegan). Both popsicles were beautifully presented!
It’s so good to see Aqua S getting some products that cater to different dietary requirements! I’d definitely recommend giving it a go!
