Good food, relatively cheap prices and big portion sizes. I got the vegetarian char kway teow ($13.80) (first time eating it) and there were plenty of vegetables and the noodles were also very good. However, the dish as a whole was too salty, and there was at least one clump of sauce that apparently did not get mixed in properly, which was not a pleasant experience.
Best nasi lemak I’ve had recently in Melbourne. The curry chicken was consistently warm (quite often they’re lukewarm), and the sambal was very spicy and delicious! Perhaps the serving could be a little bigger at $14.80 but I’m already craving another serving!

A simply eatery in Carlton that specialises in authentic Malaysian food. The nasi lemak here is a favourite and have always been! The rendang and kerabu sambal is really good and it reminds of the ones in Malaysia.

If you're looking for the best nasi lemak place in Melbourne this is the place that you go for.
The nasi lemak here is the bomb.
Always come here for the confort food - nasi lemak wirh fried chicken and kerabu sambal.
Kerabu sambal was spicy but so good to eat with others.
The fried kwe tiaw also yummy.
Hope they will renovate the place to make it bigger so they will have more sitting inside.

Ok, I don’t care what people say about Nasi Lemak House. But this is by far, the nicest restaurant I have ever ordered from Ubereats. I just came back from a very, very, VERY long day at work, I smelt someone eating char kway teow and my craving grew stronger by the hour. I ordered it on my app and scheduled it to arrive at my house between 10.30-11.00pm. I received a call otw home from them saying that they won’t be able to deliver to my place at that time cause they CLOSE at 10pm. I said “ok then, that’s fine.” I was prepared to lose my order to be honest, whether it be “it can’t be made on time before closing” or “no one wants to pick it up”. I was prepared for the worst. I reached home at around 10.15pm. I opened the app. They made my order, AFTER their closing time! Sure it came a little lukewarm cause the driver got stuck in traffic, but the homey taste and smell made me not care. I never thought I could cry because of food, but this char kway teow really made me miss home. Thank you so much Nasi Lemak House. You did a lot more than you know.
Authentic nasi lemak! The sambal is the winner for me, spicy sweet and just sedap. The curry chicken is so full of flavour and tender. Will definitely come back for more :))
Of course not as cheap as in malaysia but just as tasty! Super filling, couldn’t finish it all actually haha. Loved how spicy it was and the staff were nice. Would visit again!
NL House is a small shop that has a succinct menu that features Malaysian classics. Best keow char in the area. Blammo fo yo tasto buddo. Nasi lamak was awesome. Get it spicy because that sambal is da bomb. Delivery or tomorrow is still tasty
