One of the two best Korean Fried Chicken joints in Melbourne (vouched by Koreans)! Juicy tender chicken with perfect amount of their special sauces. Comes out of tons of side dishes - you know you've got yourself a great meal. Had Half Sweet Spicy & Half Soy Garlic - both were crunchy and yet succulent. It comes out with fries, fried ddokbokki, rice balls, dumplings, shrimp tempuras, and even corn cheese. Slightly expensive but you get to taste a bit of everything this way. Alway remember to grab a pint of beer with KFCs!
This is my new favorite Korean restaurant since last year. The food taste is so good! Highly recommend! The chef knows how to cook the best!
They’re doing drinks promotion lately and soju is only $10, which is really good because usually they cost $13-15 per bottle at restaurants. The condition is that you need to order food, so we ordered a plate of wingettes to share as we weren’t too hungry. The chicken was crispy and delicious and we had a great time - really liked sitting in the outdoor area with heating as it reminds me of drinking in Korea. Would definitely return soon.
Perfect chicken - juicy & the batter wasn’t thick like most other fried chicken joints. Good flavour.
Goodovening is a great Korean restaurant specialising in Korean Fried Chicken. Their range of flavours albeight more limited than other competitors (only 3 flavours including original,) were very delicious. The other dishes on the menu such as beef bulgogi and tteokbokki are also excellent choices.
The only downside to my experience at this restaurant is the mediocore side dishes that came along with the fried chicken, namely a salad that lacked flavour.
Both the food and service here was amazing. The boneless chicken was so good, light crispy batter and tender juicy chicken. Also tried makgeolli for the first time, got the banana flavour and it was super refreshing and tasty. The service was so friendly and nice, will definitely return!
Good customer service with good food, only the kimchi pancake is a bit too salty. Thanks for the ice-cream!
This place is featured on Zomato’s fried chicken list, and you can certainly see why! Best fried chicken I’ve had in Melbourne to date (we had both soy and sweet chilli flavours) - a standout dish.
The only downside was that I made a booking for six people and it wasn’t catered for i.e. they had to pull tables together and were confused.
Reasonable price and portion
I had dinner last Friday. We ordered carbonara chicken. That was amazing! I think taste has been changed. The carbonara chicken used to be salty and greasy and chicken was dry. However,This time, i really loved the sauce and chicken was cooked perfectly. I strongly recommend this place and 10 stars for the chef!
