Nice atmosphere and interior design. They can serve groups with food at the same time. We really liked the lunch we had and will come back.
I held an afternoon event the Metropolitan Hotel recently and couldn’t be happier! The manager Sime was so helpful and kept communicating with me before and during the event. The food was delicious and the selection of drinks was great. All my guests enjoyed themselves. I will definitely be back!
Great venue but even better staff! Special shout out to the barman (I think his name was Taylor?) he was an absolute legend and gave us some of the best service me and my family have ever experienced! Will definitely be coming again and promise to tell everyone I know about this hidden gem!
The building is beautiful, lets get that out the way, and so is the interior. Clean, fresh and well looked after the inside is very nice and sets the scene. Staff seem a bit lost and new, but all cool and no issues, just a slight feeling of not quite sure what they are doing, however they do their best and its more that good enough. the food was very, very nice, and beautifully presented. The menu is varied and most items are very, very reasonably priced for what you get. We could not eat more than one main meal its all pretty big so best to avoid two or three courses. The atmosphere was a little empty but otherwise a brilliant night and great food.
I called in today to check out the new breakfast menu and was not disappointed. Not greasy, very tasty bacon. Awesome baked beans. Fantastic coffee. Friendly staff. See you again soon
Having recently organised a large family gathering at the hotel, I wish to congratulate the Manager and staff for an outstanding evening. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and service was great We intend to repeat our visit. Highly recommend.
An excellent pub with fantastic craft beers, great wine and beautiful food (steak and parma best in melbourne). but seriously great value for money and a fantastic atmosphere created by this family owned business.....would certainly reccomend this joint all year round
