One of my favorite places . The range that movenpick has dwarfs everyone else. There used to be movenpick at thomas dux and I would get tubs of them but that’s not available now so have to go into a movenpick parlour. And once there easily end up spending half a day and come back a couple of kilos heavier but definitely worth it! I love the tiramisu and caramelita and their drinks all of them really! May you live long movenpick!
Decent amount of seating both inside and cafe and outside facing the QV forecourt.
Full selection is 24 flavours, about 20 available at any one time so should find something to please everyone.
Triple basket platter, $12.95, allows for 3 flavours. You can get the triple basket for $12.50 etch presumably just comes without the dodgy canned cream on the side.
Coconut chocolate swirl was great. Raspberry sorbet was great.
Felt like a sweet treat this afternoon so called past Movenpick in QV. This ones a store version rather than just the typical kiosk I’ve seen at shopping centres around the traps. They have a range of frappes and an even greater range of ice cream flavours to choose from. I just went for the crem brûlée flavour which was obviously popular due to the ice cream levels ... that’s always a good sign. Staff were good despite the weak attempt to upsell which was instantly dismissed.
Creamy and a really good flavour. I normally go fir rum raisin but this one can certainly get added to my options in the future.

The indoor seating seemed stuffy and very hot. It was a 28 degree day so we had hoped it would be cooler inside.
All the components of the berry waffles worked perfectly together, from the sourness of the sorbet and fresh strawberries to the soft and buttery waffles.
The tasting basket allows you to choose 3 scoops to your heart's desire. Personally, I like to mix some sour and sweetness. So, I selected tiramisu, cheesecake and lime and lime sorbet.
The Berry smoothie was refreshing and the perfect consistentcy to wash it all down.
Service was slow and they seemed to be understaffed, but it was truly worth the wait.
The pricing is a little on the expensive side so let this be a place to visit once in a while.
Love their ice cream here. Have try a lot of different flavours and most flavour taste good. A little bit pricey but it's worth it because the ice-cream is creamy and high quality. And they have nice comftable tables and chair where you can sit and relaxed not like some ice-cream places it's only takeaway or doesn't have many chairs and table for customers to sit and enjoy. But one negative thing is sometime there table can be sticky. So recommend staff should clean table often.
Lonsdale Street seems to be my place to indulge my sweet tooth as I've already sampled San Churro Chocolatiers, Max Brenner's Chocolates and now add to the list Movenpick Ice Cream. At first I had a little taste with a cup of Tira Misu Ice Cream and it was very nice indeed. A bit on the sweet side with a touch of the cappucino flavour as well and absolutely delicious.
I also decided to try one of the Ice Cream drinks and so I ordered a Blueberry Cheesecake drink to take away. Because you know, sometimes in this fast paced and crazy world we live in you want the experience of eating a cheesecake but you just don't have the time to sit down and enjoy it. Luckily now you can have cheesecake and drink it too. It tastes very nice, the taste of blueberries and of course the rich flavors of cheesecake as well. I would definitely recommend Movenpick as a place to go for a sweet treat. Some would say it's a bit pricey but I contend that you get what you pay for and this is a quality place.
Waffles are out of the world! They look amazing, they and taste amazing - what more can you ask for? Slightly on the higher side $$! Great place for desserts out of the ordinary.. and helps that it's in QV too

Movenpick is a well known ice cream chain with locations all over the world. While Switzerland is probably best known for their fondue and chocolate, Movenpick do a fine job of trying to add ice-cream to the list! In addition to dropping by countless times for a scoop of ice-cream, we’ve dined in before and ordered off their dessert menu and will shared that dine-in experience here.
We have been here a few times and will definitely be back. This time we ordered the mango gelato and berry cheesecake ice cream as well as the vanilla choc chip ice cream and strawberry ice cream. The strawberry ice cream tasted like jam, it was sweet and delicious. There is a lot of seating in store as well as outside on the grass area. We would like to come back to try more of the gelato and also their coffee.
Love it! One of the best ice cream in Australia for me. I hope they will open a store in Bali, Indonesia as soon as possible (because they already opened a hotel in Bali and it said that 'Movenpick cafe is coming soon'. I hope there's a same Movenpick)
