I think we all know by now my penchant for good service. Sometimes it’s so random and when you least expect it. Happened across Toto’s late last night while traversing down Bridge Road. (How sad is Bridge Road these days?)
Chose Toto’s as a late, last minute dinner with no expectation, and got excellent service with a spectacular smile. And the pizza wasn’t half bad. Not stingy on topping and happy to accommodate modifications for the fussy. (I also have a preference for thin crusts and they did this well.)
Better service than Toto’s in Carlton, though given the size of it the shop, it’s probably better for takeaway.

Not what you’d expect from a busy street pizzeria.
The pizzas were thin base, lots of toppings and super fresh. Very impressed with ‘The Lot’ and the prawns were so crunchy and tasty.
The Americana was baked to perfection, and when the chef asked how hot, the extra heat made it a delicious experience. So good in fact, had to get a small takeaway one too!
Also, try the peri peri baked wings.

I get the pumpkin pizza without avo because warm avocado freaks me out. SO delicious.
Have had an issue with an UberEasts driver once and Toto’s rectified the situation straight away and without any fuss.
Called in here to get a take away pizza. We got a meat lovers pizza w extra chilli. Whoaaaa and wasn’t it was spicy hahaha
This was a great pizza, full of little meatballs, salami etc and did I mention spicy hahaha ... I needed yoghurt after this lol
This was the first pizza place (in Carlton) in Australia. This place is definitely worth a visit if you want a good pizza 😊
Just ordered from here tonight and this is honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had and I've eaten ALOT of pizza. We ordered garlic and cheese and Margareta. Thanks guys !
was lucky enough to be invited to try some of the great pizzas from Totos pizza house they have 3 different location in melbourne …. carlton , south melbourne and the latest addition Richmond !. when you enter you can tell its more of a take away/delivery pizzeria . than a restaurant but still there’s a large table and and a smaller one inside and another large one outside ….
Loved totos! A great place for delicious takeaway pizza or there's two tables if you want something chilled but great! A huge variety of different types of pizzas with creative toppings. We loved the bruschetta pizza as well as the roasted pumpkin. From gourmet to regular, healthy to specials- we'd be surprised if a single person couldn't find a pizza they love! There's even a chocolate calazone!
Really good tasting pizzas. Not gourmet or anything just good local ingredients. The meat lovers is delicious as the ingredients are good quality. Looking forward to my next visit.

Toto’s, the oldest pizza restaurant in Australia, has been expanding. From its origins in Carlton, it’s grown to include a small place in South Melbourne, and now one on Bridge Road. The Richmond branch is more of a takeaway place than a full restaurant, but there are still a handful of seats to dine at, and the warm lighting and wooden tables keep things casual.
Pizzas are good, good amount of topping and tasty! I just can't understand pizza shops that won't do half-half pizzas, is it that hard? Just seems stubborn, for that reason I probably won't rush back sadly!
I ordered from here tonight because my regular pizza shop was closed. I really wasn't sure what to expect because of the negative reviews. But I must say I am impressed. I ordered a large bbq chicken and capricosa. They arrived on time and were hot when I opened. They use real chicken breast on their pizza and both were very tasty. The only issue I had was the pizza base was a bit limp and soggy. Had to eat with a knife and fork. Good prices and good value. I would recommend this place.
The most delicious pizza I've ever had. Get traditional pizzas. You won't regret it. I recommend The Lot 1961, Pepperoni, and Margarita. We've had them almost every other week for the last three years. It's that good.
Price is very affordable. Order online, pick DEAL 2 and get two large traditional pizzas, soft drink and garlic bread for $32! Delivery is free and doesn't take too long when you place an order through their website.
Very tasty pizza with gourmet quality toppings, my kids love it ! Great value combo deals with chicken wings/ribs are highly recommended !
