The value here is crazy. Ordered one Pork backbone stew and a noodle for takeaway and the portion was enough for 4-5 adults with rice. Definitely one of the legit Korean Stew place.
The closest way my friend could get me to watch Train to Busan (a scary Korean zombie horror movie) was to eat here, at Busan.
Ordered:
🍜 Army Ham & Sausage Stew ($36.00)
🍚 Bacon and kimchi fried rice with egg ($16.00)
+ cheese ($3.00)
🍳 Beef Cheese egg roll ($20.00)
Review:
I've never seen bacon and kimchi fried rice on a korean menu before - and it was bomb. There's something classic and almost homely about it that makes it easy to consume. Would highly highly recommend this! Especially with cheese.
But a word of caution... also order other things so you don't get overwhelmed with just this. 🤔
Beef cheese egg roll had a bit too much meat - especially when there was so much ham and sausage in the army stew already. I think if you balance it out with other non-as heavy meat dishes, it would be good. Nonetheless, it was for us to try it though!
The service is friendly and they gave us candy when we paid for the bill. There's a buzzer on the table if you need anything (e.g. water refill!) and they laughed when I got incredibly excited to see the food come out. Easy place to eat and catch up with friends!
One of the best Bibimbap I’ve ate. Service is friendly and great. Highly recommended for late night eats!
Awesome foods at a late hour! Great atmosphere, staffs are all friendly even in the late time. Decent price and cheap alcohol. A good place to gather with friends for the special day
I really love this korean restaurant in Melbourne. So, Except Mondays when the restaurant is closed. I spend most of my time there. The food is always delicious and tidy.
My favorite restaurant in Melbouren!!❤️
Busan is a nice restaurant atmosphere, kind staff, and delicious food.🤩🥘🤩
Pork back bone stew was very delicious and comforting. A lot of meat inside and very tender. Definitely would return for more.
The staff are friendly and the foods are awesome! We came for the chicken soup, unlike ordinary chicken soup, the rice stuffing inside the cavity that makes it even special. Place your booking to avoid queue and disappointment especially on the weekend.
Yum yum yum! Kimchi pancake to die for. Friendly service, we visited early in the evening so it wasn't busy, but I imagine it has a good ambience when busy. We shared the pancake, spicy pork belly and bulgolgi beef between two and it was a huge serving of food. Highly recommend.
Great food, staff are nice, venue is nice too
We tried a few things from the 'top' menu. The chicken feet are GREAT and aren't spicy at all so I think the resturant could make it spicer. The pork belly was also delicious
Everyone enjoyed the meal and I would highly recommend
The staff were really nice and the food is really good me and my boyfriend really enjoy the spicy chicken feet and other food were also really nice! Really recommend to go there and have dinner!
Pretty good Chittering soup. Kimchi pancake was good and corn cheese was ok too. Place is very small so good luck trying to have a conversation. Not sure my Korean partner thinks it's as good as it used to be when it was at its old location.
Was craving for a Korean meal on a Friday evening so went onto the Fork and came across Busan conveniently located the Melbourne CBD. Thought we go check it out and we were definitely not disappointed. kimchi stew was super tasty and flavoursome!! They also had the option to choose spicy or rose flavoured Tteokbokki, we went with the lightly spiced rose and it was yummy! Finally to accompany with the mushroom pancake. Will definitely be back has a beautiful flower backdrop at the entrance which was lovely to walk through❤️
New korean restaurant in CBD! Food and service were amazing 👏 We ordered Japchae and Soy Garlic Fried Chicken. The Japchae was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fried chicken had thin coating and crispy. Recommended!
Nice vibe and decor, fried chicken half original half garlic salt flavour, serving size suits three people, taste great, juicy and crispy. Stir-fried Chitterling doesn’t feel any fatty, really nice and great to serve with soju! Gamjatang is big size too, slow cooked pork with bones reminds us the days in Korea. By the way, take away package is very handy if you can’t finish all food.
