Well priced karaoke bar on the top end of Bourke St. My friend and I were seeking to sing some choons and a 2 hour room cost $40 for up to four people.
The rooms are clean and it works off an ipad to get songs. Great song selection.
Happy hour specials are decent and the bar is pretty flamboyant. Friendly staff.

Great vibe, friendly staff and food that hits close to home. Been here a couple of times for drinks but I decided to have dinner once and I was definitely not disappointed at all. Sambal stingray was tender, juicy and full of meat. The duck hearts and beef tongue were just as good too. All in all, it’s a great bar and restaurant. Love the concept, could be a little biased because I’m a sucker for authentic Singaporean food. I always find myself going back.
Came here to sample the Heroes X Kong vegan platter. That bbq cauliflower was so good! Soft, spicy and sweet. The pumpkin with fried herbs was also a top contender. But although the Collab may be over, I'll definitely be back on a sunny day to sit on the rooftop with more of those delicious mandarin spritzes, margaritas, or sour wine floater cocktails.
Funky multi storey bar on Bourke street. Limited Korean inspired menu. Between two we went for the pork belly ssam, the deep fried brisket, the loaded kimchi fries and a side of coleslaw. Perfect amount between two and everything was really delicious.
Heroes is a new Hawker-style barbecue, karaoke and rooftop bar. A new milestone for the team from Fancy Hank’s and Good Heavens, the bar menu is cooked entirely over fire and coals that is fresh, tasty and meant to be eaten fast, all while staying true to head chef Alicia’s Singaporean heritage.
Heroes is the new karaoke bar in town (by the Fancy Hanks crew) which is also a Malaysian/Singapore hawker style restaurant with a rooftop bar. There are three levels of exciting and we like them in this order: eat your meal, down some cocktails, then sing your little heart out. The décor is predominantly red and very busy with decorations, Chinese dragons, lanterns, old posters of Asian bands. There’s a lot going on which creates an eclectic and amusing atmosphere.
Ox tongue, duck hearts, stingray & wings are definitely their best menu items. Really cool drinks list especially the kopi version of the espresso Martini and the drink with the insence definitely smells like nostalgia!

Nowadays I save my reviews for the special places and this is certainly one that I hope will pass the test of time in Melbourne. Newly opened, though the location isn’t the best as apart from an inconspicuous sign downstairs, you would not know of the wonders to be found upstairs. Simple but yet inviting menu, very interesting and bold decor and the a reasonably extensive drinks list, Heroes will please many people who are after a Malaysian/Singaporean inspired food love affair. I will certainly be back.
quite a fun crowd! We did not book a private room but went to the main stage to belt out some brittney songs! the staff is helpful and drinks are affordable. quite a nice location just in cbd, the rooftop is really nice for cocktails too!
obsessed with heroes!!!! came here randomly with friends on a night out and now it’s a regular weekend spot!! the staff is so lovely, attentive and accommodating. the drinks are great and decently priced. the open mic is the most fun i’ve ever had!! best believe i’m coming here for my hens party too. thank you!
SAMAH IN THE KARAOKE WAS AMAZING!!! Very courteous and accommodating staff. Came in with a couple of peeps for a night out and honestly, we haven’t had such a good time in ages. Book a private room if you have the chance!!
AMAZING!! the most enjoyable place in Melbourne. Their bartenders were very kind and good at their job. You’ll definitely see me there again.
