This ambience and the best authentic indian food i have eaten in Melbourne so far...I loved the food...the spicy curries...they meant what they say...when it came to level of spice..I visited on a weekday so limited staff was there so service was a lil delayed...but the great food surely made up for that

Awesome awesome awesome .... Simply superb.... Recently did a wedding reception for 100 plus people ... Me & my now wifey really enjoyed the whole experience... Food, hospitality & ambience ...all added up well to amplify the experience. All the guests were pleased with the choice of venue & all praises .... Especially when most of us live like an hour away from the venue. Trying a new venue was very adventurous especially for the kind of occasion it was... But I am glad to say the risk paid off... Best Indian banqueting venue of Melbourne... Thanks team Swagat... Certainly be back ...!!

great ambiance!!! i have never seen such a beautiful restaurant in Australia. food was delicious ; no doubt good food takes time to cook as waiting time was bit longer than expected. overall a good night to remember and will definitely visit it again.

This restaurant has massively improved since new management has come in. Came into the restaurant last year for a party and wasn’t too impressed. Come around June 2022 and another party at Swagat. I am so happy with the service, the team are so lovely and attentive. Food is beautiful and so full of flavour! Keep it up guys you’re doing amazing definitely will be back very soon!!!

what a great place to catch up with family and friends to have a great feed of Indian. I must say the best Indian food I have tasted in the area. Friendly and quick service.. I highly recommend for a great night out. Can't wait to go back thanks for giving me a taste of Indian culture.

Visited the restaurant tonight with my family. Honestly, the best experience I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing especially the butter chicken and naan breads. The service was incredible, I’m glad my family walked out full and smiling with the great customer service we had all night. We will definitely be back next Thursday night and will be letting my family & friends know about this restaurant.

Beautifully cooked and very delicious. I ordered two dishes on a Sat too and the portions were very generous and cooked with care.

Very good ambience and hospitality. The food was really tasty and they didn't use excess oil in dishes which made them healthy as well. We had Indian dishes from many parts of Melbourne but this was different from others. The quantity was generous and wasn't costly. Overall, if you can embrace and want to try a different flavor of Indian food I strongly recommend this for you.
