Don't look at the surroundings cause it truly doesn't reflect the food. To be honest the restaurant looks like a shit heap!! But the food is well above average. For a good Asian lunch it's worth a try!
Good food, lunch meals are good value. We had chicken laksa and char kway teow - both dishes were great!!! Hidden gem, we were surprised. Recommend you make a visit.

Hainanese Chicken. Tender steamed chicken served with rich chicken flavour rice. It is one of the World's most delicious dishes.

Just had the Beef Rendang Laksa. Delicious!
I have been here a number of times and the laksa is very good as are the other items. The chef is very friendly and happy to discuss his cooking with you.
Fantastic Malaysian (with some Chinese and Nonya options) that is a clear local favourite. Authentic taste, large servings and great value.
Assam Laksa was a stand out (great balance), Nasi Lemak with Kangkong was very good (Sambal was full of flavour), the Beef Rendang was just as tasty (nice slow burner heat) and came with a generous amount of Roti to match.
Traditional Teh Tarik is made by Uncle as well.
Interior is nothing special, but who cares. Suits families and groups.
Chef will cater to requests and cook off-menu items with a few days notice.

Jungle Jim Malaysian kitchen serves Malaysian dishes that are authentic. The curries have enough spices and herbal flavours like lemon grass, onions and galangal. Portions are enough. Authentic dishes. Prices reasonable. Worth a visit to the restaurant.
