We tried this amazing new restaurant in Firewheel. It has fantastic original dishes combining Mediterranean flair with Texas boldness! Wonderful service. Passionate Chef. Nice decor and comfortable atmosphere. This is the best restaurant within 5 miles and our new date night place! Please try them, you'll love it!
I had an impromptu takeaway falafel wrap, and it was fabulous! Huge for $7 - nice crunchy falafel, and right mix of tabouli, lettuce and sauce! I had a sneak peak inside and boy, I’d definitely visit again to try the brunch / dinner and Turkish delights.
We passed by this restaurant by accident. The host asked whether we wanted to sit in the front or the back garden. We were delighted to have asked for the back-garden. It makes the whole experience a lot more relaxed. The food was yummy and in big quantity. It is healthy, no nonsense and satisfying. We are glad to be here. Will come again for dinner.
Turkish Breakfast done right. Eggs cooked to perfection highly recommended this cafe for those looking for the Turkish Breakfast banquet $25 per person with unlimited tea you will definitely will not be disappointed. Exceptional value, amazing customer service and plenty of food and variety.
The Turkish banquet breakfast was absolutely delicious- it also comes with refills of tea. The pastries and white creamy dip with honey were amongst my favourites. The Turkish Apple tea is a must-have- it’s deliciously sweet and sour.
I really like this cafe, mainly as the food seemed a cut above, great Turkish flavour with a lot of vegetable options although mains are $25+. I agree with others about the limited bread provided but we got more when we asked, and the plates we got we quite large and potentially good for 2 people. Good coffee and dessert and a long wine list. The cafe is nice, some interior seats, some streetside seats and a courtyard out the back. Staff were ok, a bit slow and seemingly getting used to running a cafe but they seemed to genuinely care about the food.
Perfect for a delightful breakfast on a weekend day and also great value.
It also has an open backyard with greens and nice environment, really peaceful.

The Banquet Turkish Breakfast For Two ($42.50) at Ferah Cafe and Restaurant in Newtown is BEYOOOOTIFUL! A giant board arrives first, piled with slices of watermelon, rockmelon, cucumber, tomatoes, Turkish white cheese, kasar (traditional Turkish cheddar cheese) and lil saucers of marinated olives, jams (sour cherry and strawberry), cream & honey, tahin-pekmez (tahini mixed with grape molasses) and butter.
A very worth it experience, there is always something about big plates that make us swoon....would I order this again maybe but I'd like to try the other things first!
Would like a bit more personal service though...? Like is this your first time having Turkish breakfast, these are the various jams...what should be paired with what?

Very high quality foods, in particular one of the best dishes is the chicken grill. Their homemade dips are great and they have great service.
