Some of the best sushi and sake I have had. Cool, cosy, and friendly, and the staff always make sure you are taken care of. I even saw David Gallop here once.

Located within walking distance to the Newtown station, this is a fun little Japanese restaurant. While not breaking any records, the food is tasty and about on par with many others offering this cuisine type. They offer dumplings, sushi and tempura veg among others, with plenty of vegan options.
The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was fresh and quick. Perhaps the best part is the decor, with hanging orange lights and some interesting specials on the board. It's suitable for dining alone, dates, small groups and other casual dining occasions.

Within minutes of entering, winter halted. My first bite of soulful Japanese food, mixed with the calming miso soup fixated my cravings. I felt the regeneration of life tasting the chill of authentic Japanese beer.
The mood was artistic, the space brimming with lanterns bobbing from the ceiling. House beats symphonic in the air. The staff cheerful and welcoming. I found a new local. A perfect place before or after a show. Whatever the occasion, I'll be back for more.
