Favourite pub in Newtown. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly bartenders! The wait time for food is not ridiculous, it is presented nicely and tastes great!
Came here after renovation it is kind of american saloon themed but looked good!! Food was fast and tasty :) cant go wrong with parmys and burgers, overall nice day out.
For a quick bite and friendly drink this ticked all the boxes. The burger was perfection, would have liked more chips but my waistline doesn't agree. Will definitely be back, the cravings for another burger haven't subsided.
Fun casual vibe, perfect for a mid-week drink and some dinner or lazy Saturday afternoon. The sweet potato fries are my go-to order and the pizzas are also good, however the wings could be improved. The service is friendly but sometimes a little vague on what the specials are. But this is a great local hang-out and quickly becoming our 'regular'.
The rooftop bar is really awesome and quite relaxing! It was quiet on an early Friday afternoon but nonetheless enjoyable. The prices are decent and the serve of chips is a lot! Yay
Great little spot in Newtown to grab a drink! Their cocktails menu is to die for and while I didn't get to try any of the food, it looked amazing too. Great rooftop vibes and great service. I'll be back next time I go drinking in Newtown!
Laid back and a good spot for some food and drinks. Friendly and speedy service and they even have some vegan options if you ask at the bar. I tried the vegan gnocchi and it was very tasty. Very happy to see that they have these options.
The zanzibar is gone, and websters is here. 3 venues in one, the highlights being the roof top bar and the whiskey bar, one of the best! And it's in Newtown. The right mix of genuine and cool. It's a regular for me now.
Great service, super friendly bar. Heaps of different types of whiskey to try, which is a pretty good for a old style prohibition bar. Upstairs is a super cool place to chill of an arvo with some friends, it can get super crowded and loud up there. The food is nice, the vegetarian ragout is a super hearty and tasty meal, the ribs are amazing and the salmon is nice.
Perfect little spot for a Sunday afternoon catch up with the girls. The rooftop is cute and cosy and has little sprinkler-type things to cool you down which is so thoughtful and a nice touch for this Sydney heat. We shared the burger which was hearty and the Caesar salad which was just ok. Mojito seemed a little watery but still very refreshing. All in all, a great vibe that served its purpose.
