I keep visiting Perth on a regular basis since 2015, and I never skip visiting this place. The bagels are the best I have ever had, including the service. Inside spaces are homey and cozy, and I love the overall vibe. Their breakfast menu is unbelievable, including the price. The food is generous with the stuffing and toppings, and the people working there are always willing to go the extra mile with a smile on their faces. I love this place and I always feel good here. All rounder amazing cafe for breakfast. Simple food done right, cheap, super quick and friendly service. Definitely value for money and would recommend to anyone. Worth the 20 minute drive in :)
We came here this morning as Little Bird cafe across the road was closed. Pleasantly surprised, very happy with my choice of breakfast! Servings are large, my happy hungry vego dish was delicious!! Coffee was good. And the prices are so reasonable. Not many places in Perth that charge less than $10 for eggs on toast! Will def come back

Just had the Asian chicken noodle salad and it compelled me to write this review as it was VERY delicious!!
I realised this weekend that this was the casual brunch cafe by which I judge all others in our area. The food is incredible value and the service is great. I paid $16.50 for a bagel elsewhere this weekend and it wasn't half as good as the ones on Food Monkeys menu (and I think FM's are about half the price!). Coffee is always nice and it has a great veranda to sit and people watch.
A nice little cafe at the top end of Northbridge - well priced, delicious breakfasts. I had the honey toasted muesli which was loaded with all sorts of dried fruit; partner had the monkey breakfast which was huge. I managed to try some of his hash brown which was homemade and very tasty. Good coffee too.
Great place! Nice coffee and friendly staff. Serves yummy food with good value! (Special combo like $10 for a bagel and coffee)And it's super close to my home! This is a place i will frequently go back more than the others!

Came down to Perth for a holiday from the NT. Went to quite a few cafes and restaurants and found the service in most was snotty and rude. Food Monkey was a really pleasant experience. Good service, generously sized and delicious breakfast at a reasonable price served in a really comfortable environment. Had a meal and stayed a while to chat with friends. Excellent value for money. Banana Smoothie was fantastic! I had the mushroom and halloumi bagel and my husband the smoked salmon. Both were excellent and so fresh and delicious. Really curbed our bagel craving! Great customer service as well! Worth the short walk over from the Perth CBD. Thank you Food Monkey Cafe! (No pics from us, we devoured our food the moment it was put down!)
Great little place, really hits the mark in terms of value for money, quality of food, atmosphere. Not too fancy or pretentious, just simple and well executed. Coffee pretty good - sure, I've definitely had better, but not for $3.50 and not without a massive queue!
Staff were friendly, laid back and accommodating. Really enjoyed the place and definitely will be going back.
Amazing coffee and sweets. Michelle is lovely too, super kind and quick to serve you. She makes all the sweet treats from scratch and you can really tell.
This is also super reasonably priced. It's hard to stay away from food monkey!

Very cool converted old character home now a very large multi roomed cafe. Offering HUGE breakfast/brunch meals for excellent costs.
I'm so miffed I didn't take a photo of my soup because it was so DAMN DELICIOUS. I didn't come in expecting to write a review but how could I not after the sweet potato soup?
It's a weekly special so it won't always be around but do yourself a favour and have whatever winter warmer they have going. So damn good! 😫
Great coffee and I had the best bacon, egg and cheese bagel. That is a 5 from me.

A great place for lunch with a good combo option. The portions are generous and the quality is always excellent. I've not had a bad meal here. The Asian chicken salad was amazing! The coffee is not the strongest but the flavour is always good and never burnt. Do it. 😀
Lovely little cafe! Great place to sit in and enjoy outstanding breakfast and coffee! The staff is very friendly and upfront!
