A cosy high tea experience in a boutique estate with quaint gardens and neat vineyards.
Overall, food was good but not great.
However, the scones were one of the best I've had. It's deceptively crisp on the outside but crumbles away into a buttery and soft interior. The ratio was perfect, not too tall, so not too bready. The jam was also really delicious.
The donut was another stand out. Filled with chocolate and like biting into clouds.
Sandwiches were very average. Too much lettuce and nothing interesting about the fillings. Desserts we're good but also not great, included macarons, petit flours, nougat and donuts.
Lovely high tea, and pretty cheaply priced when compared to the city.
With only one other group there when we were having it, the atmosphere was great! Also had a walk around the whole place (and around the other restaurant) afterwards which is well worth doing.
Amazing high tea! Great service and even better food. Staff were very accommodating with allergies and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable
