This is definitely a bakery that thankfully has held on to old traditions of bakery, it’s like stepping into a bakery from my childhood. The cream buns are especially delicious with fresh cream and a dollop of jam definitely worth a visit and all delicious cakes are reasonably priced.
Delicious cakes and pastries, great service. The cakes we bought were fresh and creamy and went down an absolute treat. Definitely a family favourite and will be back there soon.

Been here for the first time today, had the vanilla slice and wow! Best vanilla slice I have ever tasted and the pastry is so flaky and the overall cake itself isn’t sickly sweetening

Fantastic local cake shop where it is always busy. Serving the best pies, pasties and sausage rolls in the Northern Suburbs. All the pastries are served piping hot, it does get crazy busy in the small confined store but the staff are quick so the lines move quickly. You can also buy them cold to take home.
There are also an array of desserts on offer also. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This is a Reservoir institution. Been around forever. Been going here since I was a child. Best pies and sausage rolls, world wide. Yep, called it. Personally I only go for pies and sausage rolls but every other menu item seems very popular with the locals. I know I parents buy all their event cakes from there. Staff are also super lovely.
I use to come here at least twice a week when I was growing up to grab either sausage rolls, donuts or cupcakes. Today a freind popped in and grabbed some goodies, safe to say still the best, beautiful pastry as I remembered! Do yourself a favour and pop in - beautiful, tasty food and such lovely people 😊

I ordered a white chocolate and raspberry mud cake for my 60th birthday. After looking through their cake portfolio I decided on #147 which I think was called a bare drip cake. I had arranged with the local florist to bring up a small posy of roses (& greenery) which were put on top of the cake.
Oh my goodness - not only did the cake look amazing but it tasted delicious. So many compliments - so thank you Sargents 🎂😋🤗

We are so lucky to have Sargent’s Cakes as our local bakery in Reservoir. I’ve always been a fan of their pies and sweet treats.
I ordered my son’s birthday cake with his favourite character and was over the moon when I went to pick it up! It was so delicious and moist, everything you’d want in a cake! Thank you!
