So incredibly happy that this place exists as there isn't an abundance of places that use organic and biodynamic ingredients. First time I came here was in-between the lockdowns for COVID. Had the housemade beef and pork sausage roll which was incredibly delicious, a fresh and healthy green smoothie and the lamb shank soup. The lamb shank soup was probably the least interesting as it felt like something I could make at home. In some ways, it sure means that the ingredients are fresh and there aren't unnecessary artificial flavours. Thought the meat was quite fatty but was happy with the amount and variety of vegetables. Second time I came here was during the lockdown and had the reuben with house corned beef to take away. Was impressed by the way they handled the takeaway orders though it was very busy and a fair wait. The corned beef was not too salty and the portion was more than decent. I think the prices are fairly reasonable here considering the quality of ingredients. Will definitely be back to try other items on the varied menu.
This place is a staple. Lovely service, great food and coffee.
My Ruben toastie was very good, better than good In fact. With lots of corned beef, some good sauerkraut and nice bread, it was a winner.
My partners charcoal chicken wrap was another winner, full of chicken and bloody tasty. I didn’t get a take away coffee this time but that’s ok, I definitely grab one next time lol.
Really cute cafe. If you go on a weekend youll have to be quick - fills up fast! Super lovely owner & staff too. Always so friendly. Great food variety and all dishes are yum. Something for everyone.
I was in the area with time to kill and this cafe caught the eye. The coffee was excellent, the bliss ball superb. Surroundings were nice as well and the service was calm, assured and impressive. It works here for sure.
My personal taste means that smashed peas are the ruiner of any brunch meal. Luckily, I saw smashed peas as part of the Ham Hock Benedict and asked for them to be served on the side - brunch saved!
A Thousand Blessings is a cute, modern Richmond cafe that has a focus on eating good-for-you foods.
I have been there twice and both times had the Benedict. If I go back, I will try the Acai Bowl, because it looks amazing.
The Benedict is not my favourite Benedict, but it is nice. The ham and eggs were cooked perfectly. The smocked potato was a bit soft my liking because it meant that the whole meal just kind of mushed together. I would also prefer more hollandaise on my meal. The avocado side was unsurprisingly expensive ($5, not too much above standard). I had the avo smash that comes with ricotta and feta mixed in. I prefer my smashed avo more seasoned than this came.
The serving sizes are very generous and the tables out the front are puppy friendly. If you go on a Saturday, you need to leave extra time to find a car park but this means that you have the added benefit of having the market running across the road.
The cutest cozy little spot! I had something from the specials menu, lentil soup - and it’s was so delicious and exactly what I felt like!
The staff were so attentive!
We had the chilli scramble egg and açai bowl. Both were delicious! It can be hard to get a seat on Sunday but it’s worth the wait! Would love to go back and try other things from the menu!
I love this cool cafe in the backstreets of Richmond. Focusing on healthy and organic foods, you can be guaranteed that whatever you are eating is good for you. There is a spacious area with plenty of seating, and there is a cosy atmosphere. This place is often busy, but the happy hum of the other diners just adds to the friendly atmosphere.
We were lead to a great table and ordered fantastic coffees. We ordered some delicious sandwiches, lamb sausage roll and cake from the awesome looking display cabinet as we were in a hurry, but the menu looked amazing too. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh, and the ingredients were all high quality. Service was really quick, and our waitress was lovely. It's clear to see that by it's popularity that A Thousand Blessings really know what they are doing when it comes to delivering great coffee and food.

📝: A Thousand Blessings is a humble, laidback brunch spot cafe in a neighborhood surrounded by residential homes and leafy trees. This family-run cafe is located not far from the market, thus prioritises fresh and local ingredients for its seasonal menu.
Though with such infamous good reputation, there are numerous brunchers visiting all day, but they manage their traffic well, making sure you don’t have to queue up for long. You won’t be disappointed to brunch here. ❤️: This airy, stylish cafe with wood paneling and street side seating preps eclectic dishes. The acai bowl here is so heavenly, it’s so good, could be the best in town!
Organic acai berries blended with banana and coconut water, served with generous serve of seasonal fruits, nuts, seeds, and house granola. There’s also an option to add crunchy peanut butter and coconut yogurt on the side. Well, knowing me, I wouldn’t opt out of these options. I added both the extras, and, OMG, it made that already amazing bowl even better!

Another great coffee and food place in Richmond, tucked into Highett Street. Everything is tasty and healthy. Portion sizes are good and cost is reasonable. Service is excellent with great staff eager to please and bring out the food quickly. Bring your own cup - get a discount on your coffee. Enjoyed the hot ricotta cakes today.
Like that they use seasonable fruit and veggies, so that in itself is quite a commitment to food. Gets busy during weekends so come early.
Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller accessible. Parking not bad.
Such a cozy cafe. Have been there a few times and tried multiple dishes, they were all amazing - Fritters and Chilli scrambled are my favourite. Coffee was great too! Service was next level! Love everything about this place!
This place has the best oat latte! Usually oat milk can be burnt easily, this one is so delicious and creamy I could drink 50! Scrambled eggs were delish.
Awesome breakfast with a great atmosphere and friendly staff! Highly recommend.
I didn’t know MacGyver was working weekends at 1k Blessings preparing their Uber Eats
A great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. I personally love the mushroom toast. Cashew cream has a creamy texture and tasted amazing. Will definitely recommend.

Danielle Collins made this little cafe on Highett St Richmond famous in her speech as a finalist in the Australian Open. We have driven past A Thousand Blessings many times and decided to drop in. Well, what a great experience. The coffee surpasses any from my usual haunts in Melbourne and around Australia. He loved the freshness of the nutri bowl with it's sweet and tender brussel sprouts. My chilli scrambled eggs had just the right amount of chilli and the tiny tomatoes provided a cool factor. And, thanks to Tex for his good humoured attentiveness and engaging personality.
