Went here after it reopened from covid 19, the food was great. All the staff members were incredibly lovely and it seems to be just a gorgeous work environment there

Food was amazing! Service was so good! Get in before 6pm and do yourself a favour and grab a watermelon spritz! Calamari and rice paper rolls were amazing!

While definitely firmly out of the traditional box, this inner city pho is by far my favourite. It’s the extra touches that make it special (eg fried shallots atop the chicken variety) and the flavoursome broth has a good depth. Had one last weekend (after getting home a little late the night before) and it was the perfect revitaliser. 3 different types of chilli condiments on offer (pickled all the way for me!). I couldn’t fault the wait staff either, the right amount of attention, but also not hovering or crowding us, very laid back vibes here. I had chicken on this day, but I’m also a huge fan of their beef!! Have never tried the mushroom pho, but am tempted as it looks very good. Reliable, well priced and excellent flavours.

We visited HH last night for dinner and enjoyed the feed me menu which had a substantial amount of food. Some of the standout dishes were the kingfish ceviche (surprisingly I was okay with the heat level on all the dishes despite being a fair wuss when it comes to chilli) which was lovely and delicate and the betel leaf which was packed full of flavour.

I love betel leaf in general but I would never have ordered this one as it was mushroom and tofu, two things I dislike but it was actually delicious. The stir fried morning glory again I wouldn’t typically order but was truly flavoursome and really yummy.

The bbq chicken some at the table complained wasn’t cooked properly and fed this back to staff who returned the dish to us and said it’s sous vide (not sure if that means it’s okay that there was visible blood on it?!). Service in general were okay but there was one particular waitress, a blonde lady who was incredibly rude. We finished on a high with an extremely tasty coconut banana fritter

My Three Pointers
* Vibe is everything
* Food on point
* location is excellent

I visited before a Prelim finale at the MCG, once I walked through those doors I new immediately I made the best decisions to start our day here. The venue is walking distance to ground and when we discovered they had a bottomless drinks for42pp for 2 hours that just made things 1000 better. Excellent value and considering you pay $16.00 for a Aperol in Melbourne, it only made sense.
The interior is inviting, laid back, timber furnishings a long bar and the tunes are playing and your having fun before you even have a bite to eat.
Vietnamese tapas food options and we thought the food was quality, this place has momentum for a reason and I can see how it has become a favorite. It is also inspiring that non Vietnamese owners can bring such good quality, they must love Vietnam. The salt and pepper calamari was so good we also had sizzling wagyu with some morning glory stir fry, phu Cuan and yes I loved it all. The flavors will have me walking through those doors every time I go to the G.
The best part of our experience was the service. From the moment we walked in smiles from Melbourne to Vietnam. Such a fun, bubbly environment the staff have created and still very professional. Not sure of our waitresses name but she was amazing. Funny, friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcome. Did not have to request my drink be filled, did not have to call for attention. She was the best and if I get to see her every time I visit I will be over the moon. Thank you, even though Collingwood lost we had your restaurant to talk about.

✅ Recommended: Pork hock, Hanoi spring rolls, lemongrass chicken vermicelli

💬 Review: it’s always buzzing with lively chatter and happy conversations at this Richmond outlet, and it’s easy to understand why. Hanoi Hannah has a wide selection of drinks and treats. The music playlist is a mix between progressive and rap music, making it ideal for group meetups and celebrations.

After 3-4 trips here, I’ve discovered my favourites at this iconic place - the pork hock, lemongrass chicken and Hanoi spring rolls. I could go on and on about the Hanoi spring rolls but just order it. They are fried well and filled to be brim with an unhonestly unknown but delicious meat combo. The lemongrass chicken is also tender but full of flavour.

Their pork hock is gooood. While you are eating a big slab of meat, Hanoi Hannah added so many side dishes to go with it that it feels like you are having different experiences within a dish. There’s noodles, pineapple and lettuce wraps to keep your mouth busy. Quite enjoy the sweeter satay dipping sauce! My only comment is to bring wet tissues because the meal can get quite sticky! We ended the meal with banana fritters and coconut ice cream. Portions were big and the banana-coconut combo is classic and unbeatable.

Ultimately, there may be more authentic Vietnamese joints at Richmond. Where Hanoi Hannah NQ wins is in their ambience and unique interpretation of Vietnamese cuisine. If you ordered the right dishes and top it up with drinks, you are bound to have a good time.

We had been trying to get into the restaurant for a few weeks and finally got a bar seat straight away on a Saturday night. It was worth the wait! All of the food was so fresh but the highlight for me was the ceviche with the delish pineapple flavoured sauce.

Ordered a Mushroom Pho which was pretty decent for a veg broth. Rice paper rolls were decent but could have more punch in flavour. Everything was fresh and the place is pretty chic.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the ambient was great... Food was a tapas "to share" style and it trickled through to the table through the time we were there. I was hungry and the portion size was never going to fill me up and some of the dishes had the potential to taste as good as they looked but didn't. Refer to photos for menus and the dishes we ordered as well as the restaurant interior

Nice Vietnamese restaurant that serves up modern vietnamese food. We tried most of their dishes and highlights for me are the chicken liver tiger bread banh mi, chicken croquettes with laughing cow cheese and turmeric chicken. The tiger bread banh mi had really nice crispy texture to it and I believe they also leave some crispy chicken skin in the pate itself. Chicken croquettes were made with proper chicken pieces and the laughing cow cheese brought back some good childhood memories. The turmeric chicken meat was succulent and tender.

Good balance of diner favourites and interesting fresh dishes at an energetic venue. We really enjoyed the bahn mi fingers, which was a condensed flavourbomb of the classic sandwich, liver pate was great. The beef tartare was tastily balanced combined with the anchovy tapioca crisps although perfectly fine without them also. Other memorable dish was the whole roasted sole, with the seasoned crumb that worked really well with a well cooked fish. The only downside to this was needing some craft and attention to pick out the fillets without getting a mouthful of bones - something we probably only realised in hindsight might be more comfortable doing at home rather than in the middle of a busy dining room. Would recommend speaking to the servers about finding the right amount of food to order. Service overall was really attentive and communicative, a step better than many places we've been to.

I was really excited to check out this place based on my fond memories of Hanoi Hannah in Windsor. The menu looked so inspiring I was cursing that we weren't famished enough to try the Set Menu and that we would be limited to a plant-based diet tonight. We started with the Banh Xeo open pancake. I never knew artichoke and tofu could be this scrumptious! This was followed by a Green Curry of grilled Brussels, broccolini and snow pea tendrils. If you'd told me I would enjoy Brussels Sprouts I wouldn't have believed you, but this dish was bursting with flavour and a combination of textures that really appealed to us. I'm not sure about the Eggplant Schnitzel, which was so hard I worried about chipping my tooth. This was redeemed by the Banh Uot noodles which were so simple and yet so intriguing in its flavours. Super friendly staff helped us with the menu choices and made us feel welcome throughout the night. The dimly lit interior and artwork created an atmosphere that's great for date nights. I would come back again to try the meat / seafood offerings and just avoid that Schnitzel...

This place is the goods! Had such a great time, very friendly staff, great atmosphere and the food is to die for! Had the premium menu for one and almost couldn't walk afterwards but every dish was on point. Hard to pick out an individual highlight as everything was so good!
