Came here for dinner cause we were craving Thai one night! Dishes are priced pretty standard and standard size. The Pad Thai was pretty good, stir fried veggies with basil was delicious, massaman curry with beef was a bit watery, but was a larger serve than other Thai places. The beef itself was quite fatty.
No fuss kinda place - happy to come back for a casual meal.
We went to Richmond for a late lunch but almost everything else was closed, so we decided to give this place a try.
Overall menu has quite limited selection of food. Prices are standard for most Thai places I have been. We ordered Red curry with duck and char-grilled pork with rice (I forgot to take a picture of the curry cos we were too hungry!!). It took us by surprise as the pork was so delicious and juicy. The dipping sauce was tangy with a mix of lemon, herbs and chillies. A must try if you do come here!
I am Thai and I ABSOLUTELY love this place!! Everything we ordered was so so good and the taste was ABSOLUTELY authentic and spot on. This makes me miss home. We ordered Som Tum Thai with Salted Eggs, Larb Moo, Tom Zaab (soup) and grilled chicken with 2 sticky rice. It was heavenly and so spicy.
There were only Thai people in the restaurants or Thai people bringing their local/foreign friends. First I hesitate about coming because of the review on here and the lack of people in the restaurant but did not regret it a single bit! Pretty much the best Thai food in town!
However, I have to comment that the price is a bit on the expensive side with the Som Tum Salted Eggs around $16.50 if I remember correctly. So don’t get too carried away like me!
Another great Thai place in Melbourne that I recommend you try if you’re looking for something delicious, traditional and made with care. We have been here twice and both times have left full and happy about our experience.
Staff were welcoming even though we interrupted their dinner! We only ordered the banana fritters which tasted amazing! Wasn’t to sweet or heavy which was good! Had a nice crunch to it
The Authentic Thai Street Food in Melbourne with great deal at lunch time, good portion, awesome deep fried egg on top, variety spicy options, Will be back again! 😃
Great little Thai restaurant along Victoria St. Generous portion and be careful when ordering spicy level. They have 5 different levels with 5 being the spiciest. It burns so exercise caution. Food wise they are seasoned nicely and authentic Thai.
Food are good but feels like not very authentic Thai food! Its been adjusted for Melbourner. The papaya salad is my favorite ,compared to another two Thai restaurant in Richmond. The fish in the Garden is deep fried with Apple which is quite surprised.Stir fried soft shell crab is too sweet. We visited on Monday and they only have one waitress working. She's good but they really need to hire one more regarding the number of customer they are accepting.
A number of hits and a few misses, I think this place is overall pretty good. The open design of this place looks very good as if this place is meant for summer. That is ... Until you see flies flying around. As for the food, two of the dishes were awesome, the Thai fish cake and Pad Thai. We wouldn't mind coming back here again for those. As for the other two dishes, fried rice and satay, they were just okay at best. Kinda disappointed with the satay especially, the meat was too tough and dry. The sauce didn't help much. As for the drink, ice lemon tea, it was great. Perfect for summer.
Thai food seems to be a bit of a hit and miss in Melbourne; whilst a pad thai is available in every food court, authentic papaya salads are hard to come by. One of my Thai friends gave a glorious recommendation of Jaidee Thai, and I was more than willing to give it a try. Som Tum Thai – $12.00
A north eastern thai food experience in Melbourne! A traditional, high quality and delicious set of menu options will leave you to your hearts desire.
Prompt table service and great drink options too, definitely worth a visit.

Pork is really nice ,fish is special , tum yum soup is great and I really like it .The fish with sour source is really helping the epetite.
Nice place with amazing food and great service. Recommended and it comes with a big plus that it even accepts AMEX cards.
Awesome traditional Thai 🇹🇭 food 🍲. Great cheap lunch specials and big size portions. One of my favourite Thai 🇹🇭 restaurants in Melbourne. Very friendly staff.
Great little authentic Thai restaurant. My favourite dish was the fried soft shell crab and goes great with the Thai milk tea - helps with the spice of the dish
One of the best local Thai restaurants I have found. Delicious. And hot here really is hot. Not the lame, bland Australiana type Thai.
We were there for dinner. Apparently the dinner menu is not the same as the lunch menu. They offer good deals for lunch, lunch pack for 12.90 give or take. For dinner the prices are higher but still pretty reasonable. The portions were big enough, I got a big bowl of chicken curry which was very fresh and tasty. The coconut rice was also yummy, and standard size. They made a mistake in adding up the bill, so we had to return, but they were nice and easy in handling it. Oh their Eftpos was very slow and it took a few go s to actually work, you might want to take cash with you to make life easier! All in all I would recommend the place though! And I am definitely going back!
