Had brunch here this morning, beautiful spot in Samford right in the sun with lots of seating options. Good variety breakfast and young staff really friendly. We tried theyre eggs, toast and bacon. Good portion and delicious relish. The toasted sandwiches are always good, especially the chicken, cheese and avo with thick cut bread. The real highlight was the Thickshake, I’ve struggled to find even a good milkshake in Samford and this was one of the best quality ones I’ve had. Simple Caramel was thick and amazing. I hadn’t been back since there was a change in management, but will definitely be coming back again.
Absolutely delicious. My partner, Cheryl and I went to the Black Sheep Caffe for breakfast this morning. I ordered the "Black Sheep" which was heaps of beautiful crispy bacon, two perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise sauce atop a well toasted French bread and avocado. For the cost of $18.50, I was well sated. I would reccomend this café/restaurant any time. The service was great.

The "Black Sheep" is literally everything you could possibly want in one breakfast dish. Exquisitely blended with ripe avocados, grilled haloumi, perfectly cooked (not too crispy) bacon, crunchy and soft in the Middle French toast, runny poached eggs and topped with scrumptious hollandaise sauce. I am coming back once a week for this. I have never rated 5 stars on Zomato until now. 10/10 perfect, could not improve. Brilliant. Bravo. Xx.

The smashed avacado was delicious with prefect halloumi and very tasty pesto, great size portion.
The BB was great too..fresh, good sized and quality ingredients.

I was slightly worried as there have been mixed reviews but overall it's a winner. 8 of us visited from Brisbane for Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and friendly service. It's a little noisy inside but worth it for the aircon. Not everyone got their coffee before food started arriving but it wasn't a huge deal. Both food and coffee were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Had lunch today at this black sheep cafe in samford and find out this is actually the only right choice I have made today:) nice they do all day breaky, my wife had egg Benedict and it was the best egg Benedict she ever had accord to what she said, lol...I had hamburger and it is huge and nice. The coffee is very smooth and very nice, and the owner told me that they just change to this elixir coffee, well done mate. Nice staff and services, recommends his place and will go there again.

Baaaaaaaaaa!. Well this caffe is definitely no black sheep - it is, in fact, the nice fluffy little one that Mary probably owned. Having been there several times, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Coffee is the BEST I have had in Brisbane (and I drink a lot of coffee!) the service is excellent, as is the food, and the ambience is just perfect. The real selling point is the outdoor dining area, where kids and animals (both non feral from what I've seen) are welcome, in a safe environment where you can sit back, and just keep drinking lattes and eating yummy food off the menu; watching the world (and a few motobikes and grey nomads) go by.
Love love love every time. But don't tell everyone - its a well kept secret :D

What a pleasant surprise the Black Sheep Caffe at Samford is. They have an excellent menu, friendly helpful staff and a tasty range of drinks to tempt all buds. It really is very nice indeed.
The front garden offers shaded tables to relax or you can choose indoor seating to get away from the weather. There's even things for the kids to play with and they're pet friendly too, should you wish to dine with your well behaved fur baby.

I’ve been coming to this cafe with family and friends for the past 4 or so years, and it has been consistently wonderful. It had a lovely vibe, and is in a great location (we normally park in the IGA car park then wander over). It can get quite busy, but the staff are wonderful and the food is amazing! I recommend the Mint Lemonade: it is so refreshing and one of the reasons why I keep coming back!
Must try the pancakes! It's so good! Coffee is good, too.
Have been here several times have the best breakfast wrap I have ever had, great spot to take young kids. We have 2 under 2 and they love it.
Service is always great, friendly. Meals come out quickly and coffee is fantastic.

Was there for breakfast - great food, coffee was good, was happy with the serving size. Bit of a wait with food that morning but due to the toys available to kids (as well as the "yard" size) my husband and I were able to sit and have a lovely chat while our toddler happily played with the toys. A perfect setup if you want a cafe that is kid friendly.
2nd time visiting this lovely cafe this weekend.
