We dined at Apollo for my husbands' birthday. The matre d was very personable, shifting around bookings to seat us at the best table in the house. Our sommelier had carefully curated an appealing wine list which included a Greek wine that had just won a Decanter award. It was crisp, flavoursome and complemented our dinner perfectly. We ordered the sardines which were coated in generous portions of parsley and lemon (lip smacking my delicious) and the lamb shoulder which fell off the bone and melted in our mouths. The comforting Greek country pallate, inviting ambience of the venue and individual attention provided by the staff made our experience very special. We will certainly return.
Delicious, innovative food in a chic environment. Top quality produce with professional friendly staff. You feel that you've had a very indulgent luxurious treat and know that it will be worth it even if the bill is large. The bill arrives and you are so pleasantly surprised - so reasonable for such all round quality. The ambience is wonderfully elegant but the real star here is the food - it's sublime! A must when in Sydney.
Food was amazing - entree of saganaki with pita bread - best we've had anywhere. Lamb rack so tender, full of flavour - perfectly cooked. Pork cutlet just as good and eggplant, almond salad excellent. Dessert superb - poached rhubarb, white chocolate and honeycomb. Service spot on - we will definitely be returning when we next return to Sydney - really could not fault this venue. Did get there close to 6 to endure we got table :)

Dined here today and while it was uneventful and we enjoyed most of our food, the older female staff member seemed unfriendly and short with us the entire time despite us not causing any trouble and interacting with her and other staff in a polite and friendly manner.
She had a sour look on her face after we ordered and all interactions after. I don’t know if we did something to offend her and to her credit, she did refill our water a few times but there was a strange vibe that made us feel uncomfortable. A male staff who kindly introduced our dish to us when he served it saved this review from being a 3 star, his service was impeccable.
The honey saganaki cheese was delicious, we also had the lamb shoulder which was quite tender but lacked flavour and was very dry on the edges. The loukoumades were also delicious.
Overall we did enjoy our time here even though it was dampened by the inconsistent service. The food is nice but overpriced for the portions served and while I understand that it’s a slightly more upper scale area, the service needs to match the price for us to justify coming back. Zomato doesn’t allow 3.5 stars but this feels like a 3.5 star more than a 4.
Perfect for a large group, lots of small tapas style dishes. More of a sharing type of menu. Very delicious food! Only thing to be aware of is that you cannot make a reservation, so you have to turn up and hope to not be waiting for a long time. Does get very busy though, nice buzzing atmosphere!
We took the banquet option for a large group of us. The pita bread and dip were very satisfying. We also really enjoyed the Saganaki cheese and king prawns. I feel both the chicken and lamb were slightly dry but still flavourful. Both the rhubarb desserts and filo pastry were a delight to finish with!
Long tables with amazing Greek food. Sharing plates galore, everyone will walk out full full full. Service is great, this would be perfect for anyone that is super super hungry. And in need of good Greek food. Or people that like coriander in your cocktails ha!. What to eat here: the lamb, the pita and the potatoes!
Had the banquet set menu. Definitely a place you go with a group, it has that communal dining vibe. Highly recommend the taromasalata with extra pita bread, because you're gonna want sardines as well, and there is so much moppable sauce on the plate that would go to waste normally. The lamb was very well cooked and tasty. A bit underseasoned but that doesn't really matter and is probably much less risky.
Was not a big fan of the dessert but then I'm not really a dessert eater.
Quick and sincere serving, such a nice bunch of team/staff! All service team is polite and attentive! Food is generally delicious, but some menu items can be hot and miss! I like their meat generally, but some seafood plates can be bland in taste. Most of the time, they are consistent though! Happy to go over and eat there again and again.
Enjoy this short haul flight to Greece! The Apollo has a loyal following, and you only have to spend dinnertime here once to understand why. Inside the space is industrial chic with exposed concrete and granite, while the atmosphere buzzes like a bee.
But, it’s the menu that exemplifies Potts Point’s restaurant pedigree, serving up top-notch Greek fare with a modern twist. Order a bunch of share plates and you can’t go wrong. Things like saganaki, vine leaf parcels and BBQ calamari. Or just go ‘The Full Greek’ – an eight-course set menu for $60pp, or make that $65pp if you want to add ouzo.
For something different, you can sit at the ‘chef’s table’, which is a 12-seat marble table, tucked away in a quasi pantry. Adjoining the kitchen, you’ll feel part of the action and can engage in some pillow talk with the chefs.
GREAT food! Obviously their trade mark honey haloumi is the way to start.
Great for a date, or dinner with a close group of friends. It is on the pricer side, but it's good for a special night.
Fantastic Greek restaurant I keep coming back for that leaves happy and satisfied. Delicious and beautiful staff and a great dining experience. Amazing slow cooked lamb and the Nagasaki awesome. We never want to leave.

Had a lovely dinner last night celebrating two birthdays. It was the perfect venue for it! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and the drinks were amazing as well. Everyone must try the pork and lamb dishes since it was just mine blowing! The venue itself had a great ambience, so lively despite the covid situation and awful weather. It was just so lovely to see people having a good time and enjoy themselves. The experience almost made us feel that covid never existed!We would love to come back soon and definitely will be recommending it to our friends and family! You guys did an amazing job last night and thank you much for looking after us!
Delicious food & wine. What a wonderful way to spend a rainy Saturday. The Apollo was packed, it had a wonderful ambiance, the staff were run off their feet but the service was amazing!
Enjoyed a Tues night dinner here last week. Ambience, music, lighting and vibe is great at this restaurant. It was full with a variety of different people. A little on the loud side for convos but not too bad. Food was a little disappointing, and nothing out of the ordinary. Pita bread and dips were good but the meat and pots were a tad overdone for my liking. Service was great. Overall good experience and the price not too bad for the whole package.
Greek food in a modern restaurant. Tasty and good service. Only tried vegetarian food as my friend did not want meat. Even as a meat lover, I had a good experience. The spinach and chees pie was really nice.
Worth it. Great vibe. Good staff / service.

Attentive fabulous cheeky staff. Food tasted great. Intense flavors and were intense. The saganaki was so good ! The green peas were also to die for.
