Love this place! Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff.
Highly recommend The Muglan if you fancy something spicy....
Just went there with my family and the service is really sweet! And the foods are so yum!!!!!(specially the chicken tikka masala and naan)
Momos didn't taste authentic, the sauce was amazing and had the same taste you get in Nepal however the momos could be better. The cocktail was too sweet and didn't have enough alcohol in it.
We shared the thali and a goat curry. The thali came with chicken curry, black lentil stew, a potato and spinach side, chutney, yogurt and rice. It's a great sampler dish though the lentils were very salty. Loved the goat curry - the meat was tender and the curry was delicious.
Simple authentic nepalese cuisine right in the heart of sydney. The taste is so subtle and earthy with amazing ambience. Try it on weekends as even on weekdays you can find rush in this restaurant
Xihuahua 🐶 wanted to explore more genres of food so Nepal we go! Well it was still in Sydney but it felt very 🇳🇵. The decor felt warm and exotic but not cheesy. They feature veg, chicken and goat plus seafood.
That said. The momos are covered in an exotic spicy sauce and some veg. We asked for chicken but goat and veg are also optional.
The 🇳🇵 fish curry was good. They use a rather fishy kind of fish. And it isn’t very tender. The dish felt healthy though.
Chicken Tikka Masala was fairly average. Chicken is too tough. Sauce is nothing special.
Makai Kofta was divine! One bite and I was in the cloud district! Soooo good. The rich creamy spicy sauce was perfection!
Naan and roti are actually pretty similar, you get 3 slices. They are a must for dipping in other dishes’ sauce. You can do rice too.
Service is very good the friendly staff do have trouble communicate in understandable English I found but I don’t mind mystery dish haha. It is rather expensive dining given the tiny portion size, however if you are just into momos the place is actually pretty good value.
It's a Nepalese restaurant..
the menu is wide variety of there cusine & the ambience too..
Tried the fish pakoda & chowmein noodles must try..
& Mango lassi..
All we're really good..
Friendly staff & chef..
Have been a regular visitor to this place specially for their momos and the vegetarian platter. The staff is very friendly and service is good.
They are famous for their Nepalese food. The place is nice and cosy. The price is reasonable. We tried chow mein, momos, mutton briyani, masala tea and Kulfis. The taste and quantity was good.
“Summary: A Nepalese restaurant in Sydney CBD serving authentic Nepalese food with imported alcohol from the Himalayan region. Be taken away to Nepal and back; expect to find curries, traditional snacks, momos and lots of spice!”.
This was one the restaurants that was on the Ritual app so took the opportunity to order lunch from here and also pick up some lunches for some workmates too. There was a special offer on and they seemed to be well organised and on top of the special. Service is pleasant.
Picked up an order of Butter Chicken and Vegetable Curry and both were served with rice. I had the chicken and it was flavoursome enough and served me well for lunch. Portion is decent.
Great joint for Nepalese and Indian food.
The momos here are great. The outer covering is not very thick and the filling is good.
The quantity of the gravy dishes are decent. Slightly on the pricey side.
The butter chicken is sweeter than the authentic stuff. Altered to suit the local taste buds.
The mutter paneer was good. It had this amazing smokey flavour and the typical dhaba style flavour (food found long highway's)
The naan is great aswel.
