I strongly recommend this place! After having the omakase at Osaka bar, i don’t know how can i ever eat a normal sushi ever again! Ingredients were fresh and service was top notch! It was a great experience and I’m glad choosing this place to celebrate my new job offer! I will definitely come back for more!

My first omakase and it did not disappoint! Small little restaurant run by husband and wife who were so lovely. Food was delicious, great atmosphere, and good hospitality.

A cute little place tucked away in Sydney. This review is for the newly reopened Osaka Bar which is now an Omakase restaurant rather than its former terrace dining place. The experience is incredibly personal compared to a regular dining experience. The atmosphere felt like I was back on holiday in Japan. It's only run by the head chef and his wife, both whom are very sweet and attentive to the 5 seats that they have in the restaurant. I'd recommend to get the 12 piece sushi set course. The course depends on what's in season and it's chef's choice. We had fatty tuna, salmon, grass fed beef and more (I don't remember the rest haha). The chef describes what each dish is before you eat. It does require a booking a week or two in advance but it is well worth it.
