Nice tranquil neighbourhood, the area was pretty quiet for Sunday brunch time. Not too many cafe options this part of town, but all you need is a good one really. The cafe is nicely decorated with a provincial European feel, very relaxing. Their French Toast consisted of 2 giant size bread topped with berries, grilled banana, syrup & mascarpone. It was pretty as well as tasty. A good range of fresh juice options as well. Perfect for a local brunch on the weekend.
Superfood Bowl (4/5): This superfood bowl has all of my favourite things: avo, pumpkin, kale, beans and quinoa topped with a sunny side up egg that was cooked in coconut oil (you could taste the coconutty goodness!) it was an extremely filling bowl and my belly and tastebuds were very satisfied.
Fruit Salad & Yoghurt (4/5): The Greek yoghurt is so creamy and addictive, I was so full but couldn't stop digging my spoon in for more! I love the assortment of fruit too - super fresh and sweet strawberries, grapes, oranges, apples, blueberries and watermelon. Love it when cafes aren't stingy on the fruit!
Steak Sandwich (4/5): I can only base this from my partner's feedback since I'm vegetarian but he was recovering from a big night out and needed a large meat dish to re-line his stomach...and this surely did the job! It was a HUGE steak sandwich with lettuce, cheese, tomato, beetroot, onion and sauce with a large serving of chips and dip on the side. He was starving but could hardly finish his manwich haha
We had such a delightful experience here. The staff are so lovely and the ladies next to us gave me serious food envy when they ordered their afternoon tea and scones! Will definitely be back here to try more :)
Their house made pies look DELISH!!!!
