Best sushi I've had in sydney - and I don't take that lightly. Spicy tuna roll is delicious ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝI will definitely be going back to their establishment.

Takeaway window is good lunch value with an excellent selection of sushis.
The dishes don't take long to appear on your table either, the chefs run a rather efficient open kitchen.
Visited Ichibang with a Groupon ($49 for 2 people, 10 courses). It took us over a month of calling to get a Fri or Sat night reservation. Booking was interesting as English is definitely not a 'strength' in this place. The dishes were tasty and fresh, as another user pointed out, they are small, but then there are 10 of them, probably not the best if you are starving! The place is very neat and clean, and the staff were very friendly. They did tend to rush our dishes out (they weren't busy so I'm not sure why), we could have been in and out in 30 mins! Would like to go back, but not on Groupon, the other diners food looked much better.
Slightly more expensive than other Japanese restaurants in the area, but it's definitely worth it. We had Sashimi and Sushi, the fish was super fresh and delicious, the service was very nice, and we also had two yummy nibbles/bites for free while we were waiting for the dish. Next time we'll go for a Japanese in the area, we'll definitely go back to this one (and we have tried many).
Amazing food. This was my first time trying Sashimi it just melted in your mouth so fresh and the staff are great love love it :)
Great sushi with good price value
Delicious food, great service. We bought a voucher from Groupon for 4 people for 10-courses dinner at Ichibang. All the foods are fresh and very well-presented. We love crispy prawn, wagyu beef and sushi. The staffs are very nice and helpful. We regret that we only bought one voucher.

Fantastic experiences both times. The sushi here both times absolutely excellent. Amongst the best from which I even had in Japan.
The takeaway is very surprisingly well priced especially for the quality.
When I sat down I ordered the assorted sushi and sashimi and the chef brought it out to me and explained which prices were what fish, which I very much appreciated!

The food and service were amazing! Highly reccomend the aubergine with miso sauce and the Lion king roll. So fresh and flavourful. You could easily miss it walking past as you really only notice the take away stand put front but the restaurant has a nice chilled casual atmosphere.
Delicious and always fresh. The restaurant team always provide exceptional service and are very friendly and welcoming. Their takeaway sushi is also always fantastic when you need a quick lunch on the run.

I live around the corner and this is by far my favorite takeaway place. Price/quality is just outstanding and they're always smiling. I mean look at this $6,50 lobster roll ๐ณ๐

The prices are little bit on the premium side but the food were superb. I had the Ichibang Special Bento for $30 and it had pretty much everything - sashimi, teriyaki beef, rice, miso, vegetable tempura, gyoza, salad and even some edamame. Out of those, not one dish managed to disappoint me at all. I also shared a bit of a sashimi boat with my friends and everything was really fresh.
Overall a place with great food if you don't mind spending a little. Would definitely recommend!
